♔♞♙ Chess Puzzle of the Day

puzzle position | posicion del problema

*** Black to play and checkmate ***

Another one of those victorious positions, but one that deserves to be finished off in style. In the game, the black-piece player did not find the continuation and opted for another easy, but not elegant, way. Your job, however, is to make the precise moves as usual. Find the best continuation that leads to mate in four moves.

Do you want to exercise your tactical skills a little? Then solve this chess puzzle. Indicate the correct move and a full continuation. If you want, you can point out the tactical motives and other patterns present.

I also want to invite you to participate in the weekly #SteemChess tournament, promoted by @schamangerbert and held every Saturday through lichess.org. If you play chess online, join in! Free registration.

Queen f3. If white responds with queen g2, take it with rook g2. After white takes our rook, let queen f1. After rook g1, knight g3 is checkmate.

If white responds with rook g2, then grab it with our rook into g2. After he grabs our rook with his quuen, put queen d1. After Queen g1, knight g3 is checkmate.

Hi, @maciejficek.... Nice variations!

Why You keep being absent from our Steemit Chess Tournament by SchamanGerbert? 3 weeks in a row.
Honestly, sometimes I was busy and other times I just forgot. 🙈 And by the time I remembered, it was too late. I'm hoping to add it to my calendar somehow, so I can have a reminder or something. I want to keep playing there. Thanks for asking.
