Describe the trees. Put the leaves on them.

Yesterday, I had a dream of a few seconds, only enough time to hear a man telling me:

Describe the trees. Put the leaves on them.

I felt the phrase so bold I wrote it somewhere so I wouldn't forget it. But I didn't know what it meant. I also could see in those few moments an upper view of a tree in autumn with a few yellow-orange leaves, and a woman was trying to put back one of theem, no idea who she or the voice man were.

It was about noon today when I finally understood what that phrase meant.

When you write or tell a story and you only say "there were trees"... the information is very poor, since there are many kinds of trees, different color of the leaves, the size or age of it, if it has flowers or fruit, if it's straight or crooked, and a very long etcetera... the details, the information that may change the sense of the whole story, and that can be applied on many situations in life.

It felt like a mindblowing revelation.
And that's how my day started being interesting.

After cooking and stuff at home I took a walk at about 16:50.

on my way to the park

The idea was simply go to the park and walk there a bit more. As I was on my way, a little time after taking the picture above I noticed a girl walking in front of me; she was using cool big headsets, I guess listening to music. I was listening to music too, My Chemical Romance at that point. I have to say I can't avoid a little headbanging, closing my eyes, a bit of singing, shaking my bottle of water... you can definitelly say I am listening to music, and I am enjoying it. That girl in front of me made no sign of even listening to anything at all, it made me so curious to know what she was listening to. I stopped for a moment to check my mobile and that was enough for her to get really far, then she crossed the street and there was no chance to ask.

my favorite tree of the park

As soon as I arrived, after about 10 minutes walking, I took this photo of my favorite tree there, the most crooked one.

just chillin'

I 'climbed' the branch and sat there for a while. Not to mention this tree also has a water bottle holder, which is very convenient.

hold me my water, please

As the golden hour had I arrived I remembered I had brought something else to the park: a small notebook, a pencil and a sharpener.

those things

When I was drawing, a little girl came to me running, I though for a second she was one of my daughters, because of the security she was approaching. She arrived and I say: "Hi!".. she said "Hi" too and left like she found out I wasn't who she thought I was.

I continued drawing and I could feel how the lighting was changing, it felt kind of magical, not gonna lie. If you haven't tried drawing at the golden hour, I recommend you to try it.

So it was time to put the leaves on the tree... only to find out it was indeed a hard task.

finished drawing

Of course I wasn't gonna draw the kids playing soccer. But also of course I will bring art supplies every time from now on.

So it was time to continue my walk on the side of the park, first thing I noticed was the beautiful sunset:

had to take a photo

In the middle of the first lap I saw this cute robin bird and wished I had a better camera. I couldn't take a good picture but I had fun trying.

he was having fun too

At the point of starting the second lap I took a new picture of the sunset because it was totally worth it.

The sun was gone and I could appreciate the clouds better. While taking my mobile back down, a woman passed on my left and looked at me like I was a total freak. I only thought... "hadn't she ever saw a woman with half pink hair take a picture of the sunset?"

At about 1/4 of the second lap I noticed something very unusual, puffs of smoke that seemed to come from the street.

what thee...

I removed one of my earphones and asked a guy who passed by: "Is that a car?!"... he didn't hear me, he was wearing his own earphones, lol. Still had a lot to go on this lap to be close enough to take a good photo of it. I could see it kinda made 3 little explotions, it was nuts. At this point I was listening to The foundations of decay by My Chemical Romance, which suited pretty well.

yup, it was car.

The smoke cloud was huge, the fire was really big, I had never seen a car on fire! It was a PT Cruiser. A PT Cruiser on fire while the sky was on fire too. Poetic.

I got close enough to take this picture, it has some zoom also, don't worry I didn't risk myself. By the time I was here, I was listening to Watch by Billie Eilish; wich suits even better!

I'll sit and watch your car burn with the fire that you started in me 🎶

Firefighters arrived right after and stopped the fire. The golden hour was over and I took the last lap and took these pictures:

still

beautiful

I went back to the side of the park and my husband and daughters had already arrived. Took a little rest with my friends Charmander and Mr. Banano.

On the way back home (in the car) I took this pic of a 'mural', they're supposed to be famous guys from my city, Nathanael Cano and Carin Leon...

But before thinking that was the end of the day... I went a little shopping, I like this accessories shop so much: Marina accesorios, high quality, very cool and great price!

nice variety!

I bought this cutie I had seen on their social media:

totally loved it!

And as if the day couldn't get more intense... my husband made sushi for dinner...

homemade sushi is the best on earth!

At this point, I'm not gonna lie, I am tired. I'm glad I could write about today because it was one of those days I don't want to forget. Sorry I actually didn't put the leaves on the trees.
