Chicken Adobo with Love

I started the day with groggy eyes because I slept really late the night before. With the usual mask-on mode and the hot weather, I thought I couldn’t be any more drained than this. Thank God, I closed my day with my favourite dish, Chicken Adodo.

Chicken Adodo is a signature Filipino dish cooked in soy sauce and vinegar, then added with spices like pepper and laurel leaves. As it is my all-time favourite dish, I took time to master my recipe. There are many ways to flavour the dish but in my own way of cooking, I prefer to achieve the balance of the sour, salty, sweet and spicy tastes.

As I am foodie, I love eating and cooking as well. I enjoy discovering and tasting new dishes from different countries. For my country, Chicken Adobo is an excellent representative dish. What about yours?
