Understanding Bluzelle Gas & Tax

in #bluzelle3 years ago

It's not news that Bluzelle is the epitome of decentralized database dedicated to Web3. It is designed to ensure that users so not have to worry about issues like performance hindrance, network failure, as well as data breach.
To many, Bluzelle has been termed the Airbnb of databases and they are not wrong. It allows developers to rent space that they can use in storing their products or even working on them. Since it can't be tempered or users do not have to worry about censorship has made it the go-to for developers. When it comes to scalability, it is out of this world.

Bluzelle Gas

Before a transaction can occur on Bluzelle platform, gas has to be paid. It is the energy that is consumed in carrying out that transaction. If it is an easy task, the gas consumed is lower compared to if it were a complex task. The gas paid for is dependent on a number of factors like the space that will be consumed, how complex the task is and so on.
There is a stipulated rate for the gas fee and the fee has to be paid with BLZ. Once it is paid and the transaction is done, the gas expires.

Before data can be stored on Bluzelle platform, the user has to state how long the data will be stored. Immediately that period selected expires, the data are removed, if it is not renewed immediately. Users can decide to delete the data themselves or wait for the expiration date.
The period can be chosen using the number of blocks that will be used or it can be done by using the usual time units such as minutes, seconds and so on. The period chosen is linked to the data's lease.
Once the time is chosen and the necessary gas fees are paid, the lease is sealed with a cryptographic contractual agreement enter between both parties, which are the blockchain and the user. Immediately this is done, the data that is uploaded is stored in the blockchain safely, without stress for that duration that was chosen.

Tax

The tax rates on the system are based on what the collector agency chooses. Tax is added to the blockchain and added to every transaction that occurs in the platform. Whatever tax that is collected by the blockchain is utilized in ensuring that the Bluzelle platform develops.

Fee tax

This tax is placed on how much transaction fees are incurred by a user. The fee tax is taken out from the total fees that are collected from the users. This means that this tax doesn't increase the fees paid by the users.
Once the fee tax is removed, the remnant is placed in the total fee pool, which is shared as the block rewards. Users do not see the fee taxes that are deducted, as they are designed to be invisible.

Transfer tax
This tax is meant solely for those that transfer their BLZ token from one account to another. Any other transaction, apart from the aforementioned, doesn't have to pay the transfer taxes. The fact that the transfer tax is paid by these transactions doesn't mean that fee taxes won't be charged too.
