Oh dear, this stationary boiler is looking more like a locomotive! I added a firebox, which has roughly the same volume as the wood stove currently in my shop. Once this was done, I had all the information I needed to begin working on the trolley. As you can probably tell from the colours I used, the trolley is going to be made of wood.

Here is a view of the back, showing the welds inside the firebox that hold it together. Right now, it is just an empty box, but I will make a removable grate as well as a door.

This view shows the centre of gravity. It is almost perfectly in the middle of the trolley, so I ought not have to worry about it tipping over. Even when full of wood, the firebox will not weigh enough to tip the boiler over.

Here is the trolley on its own. As I mentioned in my last post, I will have to build this entire sub-assembly before I do anything else. The design is subject to change, but you get the idea. The reason for the articulated steel drawbar, by the way, is because the boiler will be so heavy that the only way I will be able to move it is to use my tractor.

Here is the drawing of the sub-assembly. This shows only the placement of the wooden components, and not the screws that will hold it together. In the future, I may show some of the screws, but not all of them. For my purposes, I need only to show the holes for the screws.

Finally, there is the list of components. I found some functional wooden wagon wheels online (https://customwagonwheels.com/product/wagon-wheels-utility/), so I will buy two pairs along with some axles. Almost everything else is simply ordinary lumber cut to specified lengths, hence the notes in the "description" column. Not all components will have their own drawings, the way that the drawbar components and the semi-circular wooden cradles will.
