Homegrown Bonsai Winter Updates

in #bonsai3 years ago

Hey everyone first time that I do a double bonsai post. This time around my epic homegrown personal trees, so pretty and such fun thriving outside my door albeit in the middle of frigid winter.

Above, these I call the three sisters.. white Jacaranda I germinated last year looking rather good indeed.

These trees are incredible. They tell you exactly what they need simply by the signs they give. Wilting, reaching, leave colors and more, react accordingly we do. More sun, less or more water and nutrients etc

I have most of my Trees outside my front door on the porch. These I move around regularly giving a weekly "fresh look"

I took a few acorns off an oak tree near my house.. Oak is a really slow growing Tree testament to this is already 6 months old and not doing too much. Yet.

I snipped the Tree Palms recently overhanging my bonsai to render more sunlight in Winter, hopefully we get a nice kick start to spring and they flower and leave a little earlier.

Thorn Tree, Acacia I grew from seed. For some or other reason I grew this slanted intentionally, why who knows but it should look festive once mature.

On a bee keeping adventure about 6 months ago I pulled this delightful baby bluegum out of the ground, took it home and made it into a bonsai turns out to be one of my favourite trees.
