Opportunity for writers
We are looking for people that would like to earn money from writing about Byteball. 20 prizes are available just for leaving a comment on Reddit that shows you have some understanding about Byteball and can write! Our aim is to use this competition to find people that can be paid for writing about Byteball on a freelance basis.
To clarify, we are looking for people who understand Byteball and write well. Your English and writing do not need to be perfect as your copy will be reviewed and edited by us. What's important is that you are genuinely interested in the project and can communicate this well in written format.

Smart voucher returns 40% - ROI experiment
Last month we released Smart Vouchers, which let you earn money by introducing new people to the Byteball network. The Return on Investment (ROI) you earn depends on the percentage of successful attestation attempts made using your smart voucher.
Head of Strategy, Valerius Coppens, put this to the test, and funded his Smart Voucher with enough Bytes for 12 identity verification attempts. So far the voucher has returned 40%, though needless to say, past performance is no guarantee of future results.

We surpass the 1,000 active WCG contributor milestone
There are now over 1,000 active contributors on team Byteball! It's worth noting, the World Community Grid has been around since November 16, 2004. We have only been with the project for 6.5 months, but we are already in 42nd place.
For those unfamiliar with WCG, it is an IBM-sponsored philanthropic initiative. WCG allows you to use idle time on your computer to help scientists solve the world’s biggest problems in health and sustainability. You can learn how to receive free Bytes, and more about the WCG project in the initial announcement we made in April.
