There may come a time when you find your camera not working my Canon EOS 70D just stopped altogether and would not even turn on. There were no warnings or error messages. It was just dead. I looked on Youtube for solutions and none of them worked and in fact many of those videos were completely useless. Most mentioned messing with the micro switches in the battery compartment. These micro switches are super delicate and should not be touched at all.
Digital cameras are delicate and in some cases expensive pieces of equipment and need to be fixed by people who know what they are doing.
If you have a good quality camera and it stops working. Take it to a camera shop where you can get an assessment of how much it would cost to repair.
In this case we will have a virtually brand new Canon 70D for just £300 much cheaper than buying a new one and even cheaper then buying a used one that you do not know the history of.
