When you think of crochet it may bring to mind a 1980's grandma spending her retired years trying to keep busy in front of day time television multitasking weaving the crochet stick like a wizard whipping up pretty crochet doily's, table runners, table cloths while hiding away from granddad, who's hiding away from grandma brewing home-brew to keep himself busy ~ might be showing my age with this train of thought!.
In the 21st century, crochet can be made to your taste bohemian chick, fashionista, elegant, with people making wedding dresses, suits, clothes, shoes, recyclable shopping bags, vegetable bags, makeup removal cloths, dishcloths just to name a few DIY projects.
