Which Dried Flower Products in Canada are SOMETIMES Irradiated

This is the third part of my Cannabis Legalization Failure series of articles. It teaches the general public and the legal cannabis stores which of the Canadian licenced producers of cannabis SOMETIMES irradiate their dried flower products that are available to be purchased for recreational use.

Disinformation is generally defined as providing false information or the withholding of factual information to intentionally mislead or deceive the general public. Regarding the vast majority of the licenced producers, nowhere does it say on their websites, or on the provincial cannabis store websites, or in the legal private cannabis stores, let alone on the packaging of the dried flower products that any of the licenced producers did irradiate, were in fact irradiated.

But it says in the hearts and minds of every good-natured person that consumers of cannabis have the moral right to know which dried flower products were irradiated, and which were not—as much as grocery store customers have the moral right to know which apples, banana, and potatoes are organic, and which of them are not organic.

Furthermore, many Canadians are experimenting with using cannabis that is marketed for recreational use, in order to determine if getting a prescription for medical cannabis is right for them, and so they too have the moral right to know which dried flower products are not irradiated junk-cannabis.

The second part of my Cannabis Legalization Failure series of articles lists which of the Canadian licenced producers ALWAYS irradiate their dried flower products that are available to be purchased for recreational use. The first part of these articles can be read here.

I compiled these lists after having contacted dozens of the licenced producers by phone or e-mail, to specifically ask them if they irradiate their dried flower products, or not. To my knowledge (as based on the answers by phone or e-mail that those companies themselves did provide to me), this list is accurate as of April 3rd, 2019. If any of the licenced producers have stopped SOMETIMES irradiating their dried flower products, then they are welcome to post a reply stating that in the comment section of this article.

Whether you are the owner or buyer at a legal cannabis store, or if you are a member of the general public whom also wants for the legal market to succeed, I ask that you double-check this list by means of you phoning or sending e-mails to the licenced producers, to simply ask them if they irradiate, cold-pasteurize (or do anything else of the sort) to their dried flower products that are available at the provincial cannabis stores, and at the legal private cannabis stores, to be purchased for recreational use.

Please stay tuned to my blog on the Steem blockchain for the fourth part of this series of articles, as it teaches which licenced producers NEVER irradiate or cold-pasteurize or do anything of the sort to their dried flower products that are available to be purchased for recreational use.

The following 10 brands of the Canadian licenced producers of cannabis for recreational use SOMETIMES irradiate, cold-pasteurize, sterilize, E-beam (electron beam), or ion-bombard their dried flower products, but they do not say when unless a person phones them with the product's lot number in hand, to ask them if that lot was irradiated:

  • All Edison (Organigram) dried flower products are sometimes irradiated.
All Edison Reserve (Organigram) dried flower products are sometimes irradiated.
All Trailblazer (Organigram) dried flower products are sometimes irradiated.

  • All Symbl (Emblem) dried flower products are sometimes irradiated.

  • All San Rafael '71 (Aurora) dried flower products are sometimes irradiated.
All Alta Vie (Aurora) dried flower products are sometimes irradiated.

  • All Northern Green Canada dried flower products might be irradiated.

  • All Sundial Growers dried flower products currently might be irradiated, though Sundial Growers is moving towards never irradiating its recreational products.

  • All Haven St. (Terrascend) dried flower products might sometimes be irradiated.

  • All Emerald Health dried flower products might be irradiated, though Emerald Health is moving towards never irradiating its recreational products.

It's unfortunate that these healing herbs are radiated and more unfortunate that it is often what is available to folks testing to see if Cannabis is right for them.
Thanks for sharing!

Hey @porters,

Yeah. Thankfully, there is a minority of the licenced producers who NEVER irradiate their dried flower products for recreational use.
