BC Bud Day is a pot festival or stoner holiday started by @Drutter and I and a few others 4 years ago. Since we've never felt much to celebrate on B.C. Day the civic stat holiday, Drutter and I dreamed up the counter-culture holiday many years before that. A few other cannactivist friends at the time helped us set the first annual event in motion at the Vancouver Art Gallery in 2016.

Now taking place annually on B.C. Day at Thornton Park in Vancouver, BC, Canada, this counter-culture holiday features a 420 Farmers Market and often live music, entertainment, and more. Tourists and locals alike come to acccess some of the best B.C. bud and cannabis products in the world at free market prices!

Great bunch of photos! Thank you @MediKatie :))
Looks like you had fun. Those edibles look amazing <3

I had a great time again this year, I'm proud of us for envisioning this years ago and steadily making moves in our lives so that it could happen. Hearing the reporter talk about our event on the news was something else! Excited about next year already. We'll have some speakers for music and announcements etc.
I guess the bud-in-the-oven secret is out now! ;D

Great event!!
I've resteemed this post to my hemptastic followers : )

Thanks, hempy! I appreciate the support. You're helping BC Bud Day grow! ;)

Extracts and edibles are so important for patients. When dispensaries are being closed, activists set up farmers markets!!

Sweet! I wish it was that chill out here- even though California was the first weed state in the US it still has relatively strict laws.

I wonder what the cops were asking that guy selling edibles?
