One of the European manufacturer - Fiat made sth interesting. Their model Tipo has two different dashboards.

I think I would prefer the option of hiding it, just because sometimes to me it can be a little distracting.

For me also. What is intereseting. Producers say, that when it is so high, our eyes can faster look at the screen and back on the road. But I agree, it distracts.
