D Max XTR Review and Road test

in #cars4 years ago

Here is the full review of the ISUZU D Max XTR, you've likely seen the Review with a Brew and the Off-road video, this video goes into little more detail about the vehicle and includes some more amusing bits and explains overall more about the vehicle.

The D Max has been around since the 2000's it is a dependable Japanese pick up truck, in the UK and has always had the 1.9 TD engine, however you can get a 3L though outside the UK.

We had the Blade edition last year and we have the XTR colour edition later this year, the XTR is a model that has been introduced as a lifestyle pickup, the new XTR CE improves on what we have currently, but to be honest this pick up is a formidable beast in it's current form, it's great off-road and great on road and capable of towing 3 1/2 tons and carrying 1.1 tons on the bed, you also get things like a reversing camera, soft opening tailgate and lots of protection to protect the underside, sides etc whilst offroading.

The XTR is a lifestyle pickup which means it has looks too, splashes of green, a rather aggressive body kit which at the same time protects the paintwork for when you go green laning and get a standard model for just under £21,000 perfect for farming and that comes with a manual gearbox and a single cab formation.

The XTR Doublecab Nav+ retails for £44,000 and that includes VAT, i'll stop wittering on now and let you watch the video, this next week we've got the a Mini Electric and the new Honda Jazz.

Cheers for the review! This looks pretty capable off the beaten track. Not having spent much time in pick-up trucks myself, the rear leg-room looks pretty roomy there.
