Sonic and Samantha
The weather continues to be hot, but also very humid. Although it's nice in our apartment, it's too hot during the day to be out on the balcony for any of us. The cats don't even want to go out if it's like that. But they enjoy it in the morning up until 11am and then again from about 6pm on all evening until we go to bed.
Even though kitties 3 are lying around most of the day now, they are waking up at night to play.
All the windows are open in the morning, with the cat safety nets on them. In the bedroom, the window is right near the bed, so they get to enjoy a nice breeze in the morning.

But it's impossible to make the bed like that... At least one of them will be on there all morning!
They do try to "help" if you start to make the bed anyway though.

One of Murli's favourite spots these days is the fridge and she seems to like it when the fan is turned on.

It's just too hot to go out... no matter how much she likes to be out normally.
They do come out in the evening, while the Swifts are circling above, catching insects in flight while calling out to each other.
The Swifts are out all day, but are really active in the morning and evening. I tried to get a few photos of them in the morning, but it's impossible to try and zoom in and actually get a good picture. They're too fast and unpredictable.

Seems the heatwave is everywhere, at the moment... same here, which means finding the cooler spots to nap is very important. Too hot to be out on the balcony, too... particularly after the sun has been baking the wooden planks for several hours, already.

Yes really seems like it. We all love the sun, but if it's like an oven out there, it's better to stay in ;-) Cool spots are now very important for sure! Hope you have a lovely and comfortable Sunday @curatorcat !
Soo lazy on the fridge ,) .. I wish I could be a cat too .. eating .. sleeping .. and waking up on the fridge to get another meal sounds like heaven ^^
