Belize...
Belize is an independent country, beautiful by nature, located on the Caribbean coast of Central America. It has an area of approximately 9,000sq miles being 174 miles at its longest point and 68 miles at its widest point.
How to reach cave tubing..
Actually from cruise port you can either book cruiseline operated tour or independent near the terminal.We need to take a tender boat which takes 30-45 minutes to reach the terminal.
There are many operators there who can facilitate the tour.
Then once they get desired people they will take you on bus with a single stop to buy snacks.
Then it's a 90 minutes journey to the site.
Once you reach the site what to expect..
You see many group merging there.you need to take some tuning material and start walking towards the mountain to the starting spot of the cave tubing.
Here you require some stamina and when you walk there will be ants in the ground and there is a chance of insect bites.so I recommend to wear full sleeves.
It's a long journey of 30 minutes walk by foot which is hard for some people to complete.
Reached the spot...
Once you reach the spot they will tie the tubing's like a chain and we will set sail through the cave.
It's darker inside the cave with water and you will be slightly touching the water.
One guide will take you through the cave by explaining the importance.
Finally ..
You will reach the main river where the waves will push you slowly and you get off and return to your boat.
You should plan this ahead because it takes lot of time to.come back.
Safety caution- The drivers are rash because of timing targets and accidents do happen.
