En mi opinión, la denominación de origen Calatayud, es la que más ha progresado en los últimos años en España. Mención aparte merecen los dos gigantes en el sector, los afamados Rioja y Ribera del Duero. Pero son en estas tierras del centro de la comunidad de Aragón, dónde la calidad del vino se ha multiplicado exponencialmente. Varios son los motivos. En primer lugar la explosión de la uva Garnacha, hasta hace años denostada y condenada al obstracismo por su recio sabor y sus elevadas graduaciones alcohólicas. Por otro lado el buen hacer y excelente trabajo de los enólogos de la zona. Hoy en día, las bodegas crecen en los alrededores de Calatayud y us vinos acumulan merecidos premios.

En boca es intenso y con carácter, pero con un paladar agradable y que invita a seguir bebiendo.
