Nuevamente La Habana se viste de cultura, y esta vez dando lugar al Festival del Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano. Las temáticas que aborda son muy diversas, en este, uno de los festivales más importantes de América Latina. Los estrenos difieren al resto de las películas que acostumbramos a disfrutar a diario, ya que exponen de una manera más cruda la realidad del continente. Realizadores de México, Brasil, Argentina, entre otros traen a la pantalla grande propuestas cinematográficas, en su mayoría transgresoras, que buscan demostrar en un contexto artístico las problemáticas de la región.

Once again, Havana is dressed in culture, and this time giving rise to the New Latin American Film Festival. The themes that are addressed very diverse in this, one of the most important festivals in Latin America. The premieres differ from the rest of the films that we usually enjoy daily, since they expose the reality of the continent in a more crude way. Filmmakers from Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, among others, bring to the big screen cinematographic proposals, mostly transgressive, that seek to demonstrate the problems of the region in an artistic context.

Tráfico de drogas, manifestaciones, caravanas que atraviesan toda la América con el fin de llegar a los Estados Unidos, la situación de la mujer, la violencia, la homosexualidad, son algunas de las temáticas que, de una manera muy íntima, nos acerca más a lo que sucede en el continente y además de disfrutar de la creación de numerosos realizadores con una vasta experiencia en el mundo del cine, nos crea un espacio de diálogo para conocer, debatir y reflexionar.

Drug trafficking, demonstrations, caravans that cross all of America in order to reach the United States, the situation of women, violence, homosexuality, are some of the topics that, in a very intimate way, bring us closer to what happens on the continent and in addition to enjoying the creation of numerous filmmakers with vast experience in the world of cinema, it creates a dialogue space to learn, debate and reflect.
