A pleasure to greet the users of this platform. I am following the challenge presented last month by @vaneaventuras, as a way to repeat these intentions of daily gratitude, understanding that everything we are grateful for multiplies in our lives and fills us with great happiness.
Día 3 El trabajo/ Day 3 The Job
Agradezco el trabajo como fortaleza en mi vida, el haber adquirido desde la niñez el concepto de trabajo como un arte de vida, como la forma de obtener recursos y beneficios, sustentados en mis propias habilidades.
I appreciate work as a strength in my life, having acquired from childhood the concept of work as an art of life, as the way to obtain resources and benefits, based on my own abilities.
Eso me parece muy importante, sobre todo en momentos donde mucha gente piensa que lo mejor es recibir sin tener que trabajar, a mí me parece todo lo contrario que lo que nos llegue si tiene el fundamento de un trabajo bien realizado es valioso para uno.
That seems very important to me, especially in times when many people think that the best thing is to receive without having to work, it seems to me quite the opposite that what comes to us if it has the foundation of a job well done is valuable to one.
Y sí, digo trabajo bien realizado porque de eso también se trata. Cuando hacemos lo que nos corresponde con vocación, con entrega, con entusiasmo, damos un mayor beneficio a los demás y no nos sentimos agotados porque la satisfacción de haber hecho una buena labor es también placentera.
And yes, I say job well done because that's what it's about too. When we do what corresponds to us with vocation, with dedication, with enthusiasm, we give a greater benefit to others and we do not feel exhausted because the satisfaction of having done a good job is also pleasant.
Yo agradezco que nunca en mi vida me ha faltado una actividad que llamemos trabajo y con la que me sienta reconfortada, este ocupa un lugar privilegiado en mi vida y como madre me dediqué a enseñar a mis hijos el valor del mismo, para que ellos también sean hombres y mujeres de bien que se sienten satisfechos por lo que hacen y no lo ven como un castigo.
I am grateful that never in my life have I missed an activity that we call work and with which I feel comforted, it occupies a privileged place in my life and as a mother I dedicated myself to teaching my children the value of it, so that they too be good men and women who feel satisfied by what they do and do not see it as punishment.
