Hola amigos de Hive, en esta oportunidad cambiando un poco la dinámica de mis viajes por la Habana, decidí tomar rumbo a lo que fuese el Instituto Superior de Arte de Cuba (ISA). Institución que en la actualidad, se encuentra una porción de la misma en abandono total, siendo la sede de una especie de ciudad fantasma tomada por la naturaleza. Que en esta ocasión, gracias a nuestras fotografías, podrán apreciar.

Lo primero que podemos divisar en las fotos, es la magnitud del verdor natural que rodea estás estructuras arquitectónicas tan preciosas. Que fueron obra de la mente del arquitecto de origen italiano Vittorio Garatti, quien concibió una ciudad estudiantil. Con una mezcla de clasicismo griego, barroco español y renacentismo italiano. Que logran una atmósfera artística incalculable, la cual raya con lo soberbio de la cultura y lo práctico del dogma estudiantil.

Sin embargo, este prodigio de las bellas artes, sucumbe ante lo indecente de la política. Por más de casi cincuenta años, este centro se encuentra en abandono. Una porción considerable, para ser más exactos, ya que otras instalaciones de la misma aún funcionan. Es triste como el tiempo y la naturaleza devoran la obra de muchos, por caprichos políticos. Que a la postre, desbaratan la hermosura del imaginario e inventiva de la conciencia artística del ser humano.

Hello friends of Hive, this time changing a little the dynamics of my trips around Havana, I decided to go to what used to be the Instituto Superior de Arte de Cuba (ISA). Institution that at present, a portion of it is in total abandonment, being the headquarters of a kind of ghost town taken by nature. That in this occasion, thanks to our photographs, you will be able to appreciate.

The first thing we can see in the photos is the magnitude of the natural greenery that surrounds these beautiful architectural structures. They were the work of the Italian architect Vittorio Garatti, who conceived a student city. With a mixture of Greek classicism, Spanish baroque and Italian Renaissance. That achieve an incalculable artistic atmosphere, which borders on the superb of culture and the practicality of student dogma.

However, this prodigy of the fine arts succumbs to the indecency of politics. For more than fifty years, this center has been abandoned. A considerable portion, to be more exact, since other facilities of the same still function. It is sad how time and nature devour the work of many, for political whims. That in the end, they destroy the beauty of the imaginary and inventiveness of the artistic conscience of the human being.
