Un gusto volver siempre a saludar esta tarde a la hermosa comunidad de Hive, hoy vengo a contarles la historia de cómo migramos @misssadeyes y yo de Venezuela a Colombia y terminamos haciendo la revaluación del Bolívar a travez de la pintura. Somos una pareja de atistas visuales con una historia divertida.
It is always a pleasure to return to greet the beautiful community of Hive this afternoon, today I come to tell you the story of how @misssadeyes and I migrated from Venezuela to Colombia and ended up doing the revaluation of the Bolívar with painting. We are a couple of visual artist with a funny story.
Dejar Venezuela fue toda una odisea primero llego Javier a Colombia, luego vine yo. Al principio viviamos en hostales y pagabamos diario, pero para nuestra fortuna con el tiempo todo fue mejorando.
Leaving Venezuela was quite a journey, first Javier arrived in Colombia, then I came. At first we lived in hostels and paid daily, but to our fortune, with time everything got better.
A Javier cuando llego lo robaron, menos mal siempre estuvieron nuestros amigos para ayudarlo cuando eso sucedio, nos mudamos al rededor de 12 veces de casa, sobrevivimos al Covid y a la cuarentena, hemos conocido gente maravillosa y gente muy mala también, nos han discriminado por ser venezolanos, pero al menos hemos hecho amigos en el viaje.
Javier was robbed when he arrived, thank goodness our friends were always there to help him when that happened, we moved around 12 times from home, we survived the Covid and quarantine, we have met wonderful people and very bad people too, they have discriminated against us Being Venezuelans,but at least we have made friends on the trip.
A pesar de todo, siempre tenemos ganas de seguir luchando por tener una vida mejor, por ir cada vez mas lejos y más alto. Hemos descubierto con el tiempo que nos gusta mucho viajar y nos gustaría seguir haciendolo en este camino de crecer y ser mejor todos los días.
At least, we always want to continue fighting for a better life, to go further, higher and better. We have discovered over time that we like to travel a lot and we would like to continue doing so on this path of growing and being amazing every day.
Vivimos actualmente en un apartamento compartido a pesar de todo nos sentimos mucho más comodos que al principio. Dejar tu casa nunca es facil, pero es bonito ver lo que puedes lograr con esfuerzo, trabajo, dedicación y pasión por lo que te gusta hacer.
We currently live in a shared apartment despite everything we feel much more comfortable than at the beginning. Leaving your home is never easy, but it is nice to see what you can achieve with effort, work, dedication and passion for what you like to do.
En comparación de nuestra vida en Venezuela esto actualmente parece un sueño y nos sentimos muy felices.
Comparing our life in Venezuela, this currently seems like a dream and we feel very happy.

Ahora hablare un poco sobre el proyecto: el concepto es revaluar el Bolívar (la moneda venezolana) a travez del arte. El trabajo empezo solo con arte pop pero fue avanzando, ahora se habla mas sobre la historia, situación de Venezuela, de los migrantes venezolanos y a veces también sobre sobre lo que ocurre en el país en el que estamos actualmente que es Colombia.
Now I will talk a little about the project: the concept is to revalue the Bolívar (the Venezuelan currency) with art. The work started only with pop art but progressed, now we talk more about the history, situation of Venezuela, Venezuelan migrants and sometimes also about what happens in the country we are currently in, which is Colombia.

Ya han pasado tres años desde que nos fuimos de Venezuela y cuando llegamos a la artistica ciudad de Bogotá decidimos hacer performance en la calle para ganar algo de dinero y sobrevivir por un tiempo, a continuación anexare algunas fotos de entrevistas que nos han hecho.
It has been three years since we left Venezuela and when we arrived in the artistic city of Bogotá we decided to perform in the street to earn some money and survive for a while, below I will attach some pictures of interviews that people have done with us.
