Agrupación Canto del Pueblo.1982
El aguinaldo es una forma musical propia de la fecha decembrina en tiempo binario, con multiples variantes de acuerdo a su región, puedo decir con toda autoridad que se ejecuta en toda Venezuela. Esta versión Larense, fue registrada por los años 70 de los Hermanos Rojas, agrupación tamunanguera de Sanare y versionada sin ninguna transformación musical, ni lírica por Canto del Pueblo, su ritmo a 6/8 nos lleva al canto tradicional campesino, con instrumentación de la familia de cordófonos al estilo Monterol: Cinco, Medio Cinco, Requinto y Cuatro, la tambora y las maracas. Su canto a dúos, son cuartetas de romances, con letras jocosas y de lenguaje coloquial alusivas a la fiesta navideña.

Happy holidays friends and friends of Hive. I give you for this Christmas 2020 a Creole Christmas gift from the Lara state, land of Sanare, interpreted by the Canto del Pueblo group in 1980, a Caracas group where I am co-founder. This sample elaborated for the mp4 video format, has photographs of the grouping, animation and music made with the wondershare filmora9 program and its original music, recorded in the studio.
The aguinaldo is a musical form typical of the December date in binary time, with multiple variants according to its region, I can say with all authority that it is performed throughout Venezuela. This Larense version was recorded in the 70s by the Hermanos Rojas, a Tamunango group from Sanare and versioned without any musical or lyrical transformation by Canto del Pueblo, its 6/8 rhythm takes us to traditional peasant song, with instrumentation of the Monterol-style chordophone family: Cinco, Medio Cinco, Requinto y Cuatro, the tambora and the maracas. His song in duet, are romances quatrains, with humorous lyrics and colloquial language alluding to the Christmas party.
