Final Work
Ana, is a friend of more than 10 years ago, She is those friendships that last over time despite the fact that each one followed our path on different paths. In my group of friends we are 7 in total, with many accumulated experiences, observing with happiness how each one has achieved their goals and there are so few opportunities to get people like that in life, so I value them very much.

Ana, es una amiga de hace más de 10 años, son esas amistades que perduran en el tiempo a pesar de que cada quien siguió su camino por senderos distintos. En mi grupo de amigas somos 7 en total, con muchas vivencias acumuladas, observando con felicidad como cada una ha logrado sus metas y son tan pocas las oportunidades de conseguir a personas así en la vida, por lo que las valoro muchísimo.
I made her illustration in a practice way, especially in the placement of colors and lighting, in addition, this style is very good for her for her smiling and beautiful personality. In this case, instead of using the watercolor brush (which is the one I usually use) I went for a textured brush that was charcoal.
Flat colors
La ilustración de ella la hice en modo de práctica, sobre todo en la colocación de los colores y la iluminación, además que, este estilo le va muy bien a ella por su personalidad risueña y bonita. En este caso en vez de utilizar el pincel de acuarela(que es el que usualmente utilizo) me fui por uno con textura que fue el de carboncillo.
To add the shadows initially delimit where the lighting would be located, which, I positioned it as if the light was entering through the branches of a large tree (I imagined like that) in that way I could place the shadows in the places respective with violet using the watercolor brush.
Shadow
Para agregar las sombras inicialmente delimite a dónde estaría ubicada la iluminación, la cual, la posicioné como si estuviese entrando la luz por entre las ramas de un gran árbol (o así fue que lo imagine) de esa manera pude colocar las sombras en los sitios respectivos con violeta utilizando el pincel de acuarela.
After blurring the shadows with the base colors, I added sparkles to make it look magical, in addition to placing details in other colors that would contrast the drawing. The truth is that I was very happy and satisfied with the result, and she loved it hahaha.
Light
Luego de difuminar las sombras con los colores bases, le agregué destellos para que se viese mágica, además de, colocar detalles en otros colores que le dieran contraste al dibujo. La verdad es que quedé muy feliz y satisfecha con el resultado, y, a ella le encantó hahaha.

the art looks so amazing, specially because of those glaring lights, or may be because i love those sparkly details in a portrait. whenever i am painting a portrait i try to add sparkly details like that....
