Its been a long time that I read The Silmarilion, that is basically the bible of the middle earth. People know the lord of the ring and the hobbit, but the real fans may know about the other stories created by Tolkien for the middle earth, creating so many stories for the middle earth, some of them with Bilbo and Frodo’s stories connection and others than just tell with hundreds of years ago. Tolkien make dragons, languages, races and even so a “genesis” that it’s for me, undervalued for the great it is, and difficult to make that.
Hace mucho tiempo me leí el Silmarilion, que es básicamente la “biblia” para la tierra media. Las personas conocen el señor de los anillos y el hobbit, pero los verdaderos fans saben que adentro de la tierra media creada por Tolkien existe todo un universo e historias increíbles. Hay muchas historias de la tierra media, varias escritas que tienen que ver con Frodo o Bilbo, y otras que simplemente se relataban con cientos de años de diferencia. Tolkien creó razas, dragones, idiomas y hasta un génesis que a mi parecer, está infravalorado para lo grandioso y difícil que esto puede llegar a ser.
If you dont know why Tolkien began his stories, he write for his children. Something amazing to believe that one of the best universe in the pop culture was created by children bed stories, basing too much in his experience in the WW to make those war sceneries and that fear that have some characters for been in a war so much bigger of they were.
Si no saben porque Tolkien empezó a escribir, era para sus hijos. Algo increíble pensar que uno de los universos más contribuyentes a la cultura pop se creó a base de historias para dormir a sus hijos, basándose mucho en su experiencia en la primera guerra mundial para así crear esos escenarios de guerra y ese miedo que tenían varios de sus personajes por estar sumergidos a algo mucho más grande que ellos.
I admire to much that, but remember that he also just don’t write for his children. Throughout his life he continued writing stories that they were alone in his mind because he write in his book when he think about something, because he knew that those thing going to work later. Thanks to his children, continued his world after his dead, but even so, not every character and history that Tolkien write and want can be write, because he have so much sketches unfinished.
Eso lo admiro mucho, pero recuerden también que no solo hizo eso para sus hijos. A lo largo de su vida siguió escribiendo historias que quedaron solo en su mente puesto que al pensar en algo lo escribía en su cuaderno, porque sabía que le podría servir para después. Gracias a eso sus hijos pudieron seguir con su mundo después de que su padre muriese, pero aun así, no lograron plasmar todo lo que su padre quería ya que había muchos bocetos sin terminar de lo que él había pensado durante toda su vida.
All this seems incredible to me, but I am sure that people who have read the silmarilion are not so impressed. The Silmarilion is literally the bible of the middle earth, explaining through various stories and various times, the genesis, wars, races, languages, rules and everything that has to do with the Lore of the earth created by Tolkien. For these kinds of things, Tolkien is an admiring writer who has to be at the top of contemporary writers without a doubt.
Todo esto me parece increíble, pero estoy seguro de que las personas que se han leído el silmarilion no están tan impresionados. El Silmarilion es literalmente la biblia de la tierra media, explicando mediante a varias historias y varias épocas, el génesis, guerras, las razas, los idiomas, las reglas y todo lo que tenga que ver con el Lore de la tierra creada por Tolkien. Por este tipo de cosas, Tolkien es un escritor de admirar que tiene que estar en el top de los escritores contemporáneos sin lugar a duda.
