It has always been kept in mind that the second parts are not good, and making a second part of a movie as mythical as Blade Runner was was not easy at all. I want to touch on this point because I find it interesting to see the context that this film brings with it. Not so much talking about Blade Runner 2049, but about the franchise as such. It is something interesting, that without a doubt, completely changed the cinema of this style, marking an atmosphere that was later used in almost all films with that same context

Este punto lo quiero tocar porque me parece interesante ver el contexto que esta película trae consigo. No tanto hablando de Blade Runner 2049, sino de la franquicia como tal. Es algo interesante, que sin dudas, cambio por completo el cine de este estilo, marcando una atmosfera que después fue utilizada en casi todas las películas con ese mismo contexto.

Don't get me wrong, as you will see thousands of impossible things, but the film does not fill with that to show us a story, but rather leads us by the hand of a police thriller that is delivered in an unlikely context.
Blade Runner 2049 funciona por sí sola, y de hecho, si cambias el nombre de los “replicantes” por otra raza, podría llamarse de cualquier otra forma y no ser Blade Runner, pero el nombre vende, y eso es importante. La película, como ya dije, funciona siendo una película única y no una secuela, pero teniendo el peso de cargar con ser la secuela de una de las películas que cambió el cine de ciencia ficción, es más admirable que algún director haya aceptado el proyecto, viéndose así un proyecto más por amor al cine que por amor al dinero, lo que en serio me gusta y en serio se nota en Blade Runner 2049.
