How do we abuse the grace, mercy and compassion shown upon us?
When we don't seek God kingdom and His rightouesness and not praying daily as the father has commanded then, we have abuse the Sacrifice Christ came and died for us.
Because his words says in the book of Luke 1:72-73
72 To perform the mercy promised to our fathers
And to remember His holy covenant,
73 The oath which He swore to our father Abraham:
Makes believers live reluctant not studying the Bible day and night to bound to our hearts and heal our wounds in life struggles. God never seek any sinner to perish rather to come to repentance but what we are often found of doing and saying is we are covered by his grace and mercy, yes indeed we are but you must work hard towards rightouesness and perfection just as your father in heaven is perfect.
Here is another scenerio were the nine lerpers out of ten abuse Christ mercy, grace and compassion towards their suffering.
Luke 11:12
12 Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off. 13 And they lifted up their voices and said, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”
14 So when He saw them, He said to them, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed.
15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, 16 and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan.
17 So Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? 18 Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” 19 And He said to him, “Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well.”
Christ healed ten but just one came back and give thanks while the nine too were heal but not whole. Nine lerpers sickness will probably come back again upon them which will be the worst.
When Christ shows you mercy then He aspect you to show mercy too to the world (Matthew 5:7), conquering evil with good and blessings those that curse you.
His grace is amazing that saves us all which fuels our daily life to work hard in faith and works untill his coming in Glory.
