Yes, I know that you are right… That egyptians kept the evergreen tree, to symbolise the end of the long and cold winter, for example. Of course.
I spent a lot of time, writing this stuff, because I was hoping to have a nice conversation, but instead I got the opposite.
Your arguments are beyond childish, like: “The old testament was written before Jesus.” - Thank you, did not known that one. Or “there where books before the printing press” - wow, I’m learning a lot. I mean, I think you don’t even get what I say, to be honest. “The sphinx are egypt”… I mean… If this kinda of things is worth saying (and by saying it, you miss the point) then this is a conversation not worth having for me.
You say I’m playing with semantics but I had to clarify the word “pagan” 5 times. A bit nuts.
Calvin, yeah I of course miss understood who I was talking about. Because there a bunch of Calvins, who where leaders of the protestant in Swissiland. Again, it’s all this level of ridiculous arguments.
(And by he way, now the school does not teach it, the movies don’t talk about it. But at the time, they where proud of the book burning, of the destruction of art, of the killing of Catholics, of destroying statues and churches, of occupying Catholic churches and so on… It’s a fact. They where proud of it, there’s evidence all over the place. )
I’m not ignoring anything. I made it clear after a certain point, that I’m not interested in hearing, propaganda narrative. If you wanted to back up your view with any sort of consistency, documentation and rationality. I would be glad to look at it and talk about it. Maybe I would learn something. But it’s only repeating the narrative. I know what people believe.
On the other hand, You do ignore everything that I’ve said. The actual facts. Using consistency, documents, the intellect. But it’s either a full ignore, or you just reply based on the idea you have in your mind, failing to adress any of the details or information. Like those people, who can reply to an hour long showing of facts with and insult and yet they think they are right. Cult mentality. Instead of answering the facts I presented, you just jump, to the implications you have on your mind.
I mentioned two battles of Catholics against muslims. And since you know, you probably know what miracles happened there? And that if the muslims had won, there probably would be no christianity left. (Protestants where around at the time of the second and didn’t even showed up. Classy)
I seem to be against Christianity? You mean because, I gave you facts and the sources for you to check for yourself, the less known aspects of the Protestant revolt? To which you just ignore and say “Why are you against Christianity?” - Just like a woke person.
And as if this was not enough, you wrote some horrible sentences about the mother of Jesus. For this last pint alone, I do not wish to keep this conversation going. I don’t even want to remember what you said. You say horrible things about the mother of Christ. And insinuate I seem to be against Christianity.
And with all due, respect I wish I had my time back from this.
So, you can think think you are right. Can show my comments to anyone and make fun of it, if you want. You can keep on saying that Christianity is so weak, that we don’’t know anything and it’s all paganism (a word, I think you probably still don’t get), be my guest. But I have no time for this.
Hope this clarifies everything. So wish you well.
By the way:
If you actually saw that the 66 canon was “made” in 300 AD at some consul… it’s a very worrying. This is legit bizarre, if you actually “saw” this.
Do you have a denomination? Do you live around people who kinda all have the same ideas? Maybe have a leader who knows everything? And do you have books/ information that only you have? That would explain a lot.
Why are you ignoring Purgatory?
Why are you ignoring that I don't want to keep this conversation going? (And most of what I've said?)
Are little Demon Elves forcing you to reply?
Well, unlike you I'm not rude. So I don't like to ignore a fellow person. Also, I have a problem with lies and ignorance in regards to Christianity. Was hoping to have a respectful end of the conversation, but guess I just need to ignore it then.
The fact that your mind goes to little demons... is revealing. Maybe they are encouraging you to keep writing such none sense... I don't know. But I'm sure they love when you talk in such vulgar manner about the Mother of Jesus Christ.
I don't why you are defending the Catholics so much.
Why are you hating Catholics so much? I'm defending just because you're attacking them with made up, Davinci code type of arguments.
I'm not even defending, I'm just pointing out facts because I like the truth, specially when it comes to Christianity. Because, if it wheren't for Catholics there would be no Christianity, they're the ones who kept society after the fall of the empire, they're the ones who kept the muslims form taking over, against all odds. They're the ones who built western civilisation and created hospitals and they're the ones who gave us the Bible. Also out of respect of the thousands who gave their lives, so that people around the world could know of Jesus.
Because it's the one church that can be traced back all the way to Jesus Christ.
Because it's the oldest institution in the world, and it has always been the most attacked one, since day one and continues to be to this day. Because it's the biggest enemy of the satanists, the masons, the communists and so on...
Because, all the it's attacked by all sides, and always based on lies or lack of knowledge. Always. Because the globalists, have the Church as their main propaganda target.
Because your hatred is so blind, that it leads you to talk in very vulgar ways, about the Mother of Jesus.
Why are you hating it so much? You clearly haven't studied it, for real I mean. Ancient sources , few Catholic books.
I would like to say, I don't know why you're hating and attacking it so much? But I have an idea.
But you known what? ... Even if I told you, I'm not too comfortable talking about doctrine, let me answer purgatory.
I don't know. Seen points for, seen points against. I need to look way, way more into it, to talk about it.
And I think doctrine is something, one should be very carefull when talking about. Find it, insane all this people who open a YT channel and start talking about scripture, like they are the only ones who get it. I respect the scriptures enough to put my ego aside and say "I don't know." And also I just don't repeat pre packaged "arguments" promoted by our culture.
I don't know.
You believe in giving money to Catholic priests so they can go into Purgatory to pull dead people out and into Heaven? How much money are you giving to these people to do this magic trick?
I just told you, I don't know about Purgatory. How then, can you ask me if I believe in something related to purgatory? Do you see how ridiculous this is? How oblivious it is?
The, priest going into purgatory thing is beyond ridiculous. Beyond! Is like the daVinci code is a legit source, when compared to you. You literally know nothing about Catholicism. Why do you insist on talking about it? In this oblivious manner, none the less? Go talk to a couple priests, study their tradition. Then you can continue to hate it, but at least it won't be from a ridiculous level. I would start with priests pulling the dead.
I'll give one last hint: When a person dies, you can ask the priest to give a mass for the person. And if you have money you CAN give a 5$ tip. If you can't afford it, you don't pay. This is what Catholics actually do. Compare that to your sentence.
On that little sentence, there is ignoring what I've said, and an absolute fake and childish view on the Church. Yeah, keep it up.
It seems you don't know what Catholics were taught. So, you are lying to me about Catholics. That is sad. You either are dumb or you are purposely lying. I cannot prove which. All I know is history. And you are rejecting what Catholics were taught. You could argue that the people who taught them those things were wrong. But you cannot say they were NOT taught those things. You also cannot say they did not give people money. They did it. And you cannot deny that.
Catholics ARE taught. It's not a thing from the past. How am I lying, if I gave you the sources and references for everything? Go to a Church, ask a priest that you want to give money, so that they go to Purgatory and rescue someone. And then let me know how it goes. Any church will do, even the most modernist one. Like ask any Catholic about that, any will do, even the most uninformed one.
Do you have a denomination? Are you like J witness or something like that? Because they are prohibit to read other books, and can't really socialize with other people. If that's the case, maybe it's time to question a few things. If that's not the case, I'll make it really easy for you. There is "The Catechism" a book you can get anywhere. (Except the new age and Protestant book stores, who always ave an anti Catholic section and zero Catholic books) Well, the Catechism is basically all the teachings of the church. Let me know if you find anything in there of what you said? Let me know of ANY Catholic source that says, anything of what you say?
I did not say, people don't give money. I explain the only connection between purgatory and money. Because your arguments are so ot there, I'm kind to try and connect any possible dots. When a person deis, you can ask for a mass and give a tip to the priest. If you can't afford anything, you don't have to pay anything. This as always been the case, for anything, including the catholic invention of hospitals and universities If you where poor, you did not had to pay.
You can give tips. Priests live on tips, they don't have other jobs. They live in the Church. On those masses, the people attending are not even asked to give tips. Of course they give tips. Like the Hebrews would pay their priests and the Temple and most Protestants give tips to the pastor as well. And before the "liberal", the Church was always in charge of any problems in the village, including feeding and clothing the poor.
Not only can I say, they are NOT taught, such ridiculous things, but I can prove it. we have all the teachings of the Church available to everyone. You can try and find any similar thing in the Catechism. But you won't. I recommend looking at it, again you can keep hating on them after. But at least you will know why and actually know what and why you hate them. Because this is nuts.
Again, the priest going to rescue is so nuts, that the weakest of Catholic will know it's a joke. So how am I lying, if I'm giving you all the sources? I think you don't think you are lying. But you are just repeating the narrative, this secular society implants on us.
Because one last time, can you find me a Catholic source that shows anything of what you say? So how can you actually say that's what happens?
You are talking but you are not thinking about what I wrote. That is sad. My point is less on what happens today. You are focused on what happens today. I did not say today. And you say today. I never said today.
