I think this is an excellent parallel to the story of HIVE. Most of it is only marginally related, but I think the beginning is a very fair comparison and the way it's unfolded. It's also a lot of fun to put it into context of the blockchain space as a whole.
But having said that I think one of the most interesting things is the way he finishes. The idea that we aren't driving evolution seems to be a concept that's lost on some of us. Thinking of all the different Web 3 projects going on right now makes me feel like we're witnessing the rise of a universal consciousness. It makes me wonder how long humanity has before we upgrade into something more useful and no longer recognizable as human and how far reaching our legacy will be in the end.

Hive itself is not fully aware of the great tool and power it has given to humanity.
I agree, but I think some among us are getting a good idea. We still need the numbers to make a serious impact, but we are, without a doubt, set up to make a serious impact on so many aspects of society.
