This monastery has been open since the Han Dynasty 2000 years ago, in Da Lian, China. It's in the northeast, a highly volatile region of China throughout it's history due to its valuable port location and proximity to Korea and Japan. It was essentially a valuable place in a borderland that was frequently conquered by various kingdoms.
The temple is located at a remote park area that is very beautiful, with lots of koi ponds, trails, and various temple buildings with beautiful statues and murals.
