Heads you see, tails you're blind.

Also, bio-regenerative gel is totally a thing... in the world of superheroes.

This reminds me of a Champions game that I ran for a short time back in the day. One of the heroes in the group had regeneration power. One of his rivals had radiation-based blaster powers. So, one of the story arcs I never got around to was they were going to have a battle where he gets blasted by radiation, then when he tries to regenerate, cancer just instantly spreads through his body. There was going to be a whole dramatic thing, where they need to first cancel out his regeneration power, go through a massive amount of surgery to remove tumors, then hope he is still alive enough to regenerate later.

Of course, because I am diabolical, that cancerous tissue was going to turn into a Venom-esque cancerous version of the hero. Glory days.

When I think of the number of role-playing games I have run over the years, I should probably have about forty-five fantasy novels worth of material in my head with clear beginning and end... But writing takes so much time...

Sort:

Is there any chance the other option has better odds? I'm betting not so it's a dilemma.
