Apologies for the delay, but we now have the winners! Special thanks to @josuemonterola, @elizabeths14, and @acidyo for the support in facilitating this contest. It's actually awesome to see how the Hive Motors Community have grown since its inclusion in the incubation program.

Before the announcement of winners, let's have a look first at how the Hive Motors has changed in terms of subscribers and engagements.

Before:

Now:

The purpose of the screenshots is to see how the community is doing before the contest and then after the contest. The most notable change in Hive Motors Community is the increase in the number of subscribers from 501 to 525. That's 4.79% increase. While weekly increase in subscribers is natural for communities under the incubation program, the contest definitely helped a little bit in this case. Another is the increase in active users from 12 to 46. That's 283.33% increase! Not bad for the contest of this community! For the weekly interactions, it increased from 16 to 144. That's 800% increase in weekly interactions! For the pending payouts, it increased from 62 to 549. That's 785.48% increase!

Another notable metric is the number of blogs posted in the community within the contest period. For that, the reference would be the comment section of the contest post. Please refer to the link below:

That's 13 posts created within that period of the contest. While it's not as many as the previous contests, it's not bad for Hive Motors! The prize pool is shown below:

Due to the number of entries, we have decided to change the number of winners from 5 to 3. That means the winners will receive:

1st Place: 50% of the rewards of the contest post = 17.225 HBD + 21.646 HP
2nd Place: 30% of the rewards of the contest post = 10.335 HBD + 12.987 HP
3rd Place: 20% of the rewards of the contest post = 6.890 HBD + 8.658 HP

Note: We decided to reward in HP instead of liquid HIVE.

Finally...

Here are the winners:

First Place: @marybellrg

Breakdown and no brakes on my Hyundai Getz [Eng - Esp]

My car, a 2008 Hyundai Getz, is an excellent vehicle. Small but powerful, with a lot of power in its engine despite its size. Comfortable, comfortable. When you drive it through places with a lot of water, it always comes out victorious, keeping, of course, the due so that it does not turn off.

Second Place: @fragozar01

Of a Trip and a Vehicle that did not Fail me [ESP/ENG]

This Ford Sierra 300 belonged to me for about 7 years and I enjoyed many experiences with this vehicle. I was able to travel a lot with it and in general, it always behaved very well on the road. But on one occasion, I traveled with my wife to Chichiriviche in Falcon State to get to know the area and also to enjoy some unforgettable days of beach, sun, and sand in the Morrocoy National Park. It was a 3-day trip, where the vehicle behaved great on the road and I didn't really use it much while in Chichiriviche.

Third Place: @luizeba

The Car and the Marriage Proposal

We were in the middle of nowhere, with no sign of anything nearby. We knew that there were several cities nearby if we walked for 45-60 minutes, but we thought that walking for an hour wouldn't be necessary: the cellphone had signal, and we could just call the insurance company to tow the car to the nearest repair shop.

Congratulations to all the winners!

It was a pleasure participating on the contest and sharing my history with the community! I'm really glad that everyone enjoyed it and that I am one of the three winners!

Also, it was the first time that I received HP (and not HIVE/HBD), so I'll use this opportunity to ask for some help: the transfer is showing up on my wallet as "Transfer To Vesting Completed", with "hive_vested: 8.658 HIVE" and "vesting_shares_received: 16084.773171 VESTS". How this exactly worked in the sense that the sender sent HIVE and I received HIVE POWER? What are those Vesting Shares?

Very pleased and grateful with this award and happy to have participated in this fabulous contest. Thanks to the @ocd team and the HiveMotors community for the opportunity and support. Hugs back!

Congratulations to all winners. It was an amazing opportunity to share my experience and gain from it.

Thanks to OCD Community and Hive Motors Community.

I am very happy and at the same time grateful for the result of the contest. I extend my congratulations to the winners and to all those who were encouraged to participate in the activity, it was great. I had the pleasure to meet and enjoy each of the entries and each one was excellent. Thank you for the prize as well, which has arrived just as stated. Congratulations to the community @ocd and to Hive Motors for such a great space to share. Regards.

Regular car maintenance is important, a lot more important is self checking our cars!
From checking tire pressures at least 1x a month - to improve fuel consumption, minimise uneaven tire wear, improve driving dynamics & grip

We can also easly check the oil level and other fluids, wich make car last a lot longer, find problems before something really breaks or leave us stranded when we most need it.
Checking breaks regulary is important, specially if we got drum breaks in the rear ( as we can't see the condition in the drum, means that front brakes work so much more)

I love working on my own car, it's easy to find how to video's nowadays if anything isnt clear and we can alsways learn new stuff, new tricks and take care of our cars.
Thank you everyone for writing an amazing posts, hoping everyone will continue looking out on their cars. Definitely a community I will look in too, can't hide I'm a petrolhead. :)

Stay awesome, Happy, Strong & Healthy my friends!

Congratulations to all the winners
