I came to steemit because I was directed here out of a private forum of some early crypto adapters. Some are investors here, some are members and some know I have the uncanny ability to find the holes and scammers and bring them to light so they may be worked on fixing.
I love steemit for many different reasons, it is a great test of personal character first and foremost. How do you use your money and are you worried about maximum rewards for yourself or spreading them as far as you can over the max number of people. It's all recorded on the block chain and traceable. So no matter what you say you do the truth is there. I love the fact that there are users from countries where a post making $1 in up votes can feed them for a whole day or in rare cases a week. I love the communities. I love chat. I love the guys who never post and up vote people like crazy.
Steemit has given me an outlet to help others, folks to chat with and monthly payment of crypto from the group that placed me here.
I love this comment. We have a different path to here, but love some of the same things about it. I however must build my SP, so have to upvote my own posts and use for SP, as well as upvoting those of others. The frustrating thing is that I keep running out of SP so that my upvote doesn't even give a penny. And this is after maybe an hour of upvoting in a day, and really only upvoting articles or comments that deserve an act of appreciation.
I try to comment in reply more, but sometimes it sucks to have so little SP. And then steemworld tells me an hour into the day that I've got 50 hours until I'm at 100% voting power again! Agony.
But you know, that frustration just highlights for me what an incredible platform this is for bringing out our better natures. On what other social media platform do you fret over not being able to give more to others on the platform?
You'll get up there indigo. We've ALL BEEN THERE! Just give it a little time. Don't focus too much on the voting. Rather, focus energies on commenting and creation. I've seen the comments you leave. And the posts you make. You are doing a good job on here. Plug away!

Yes! And there are groups using it to reforest or replenish beehives, help communities etc. Connecting with individuals from everywhere just hits me hard. I get pretty teared up a lot on here.
