It's all about honesty. Both types of responses have their place. Constructive comments help the user getting constructive replies improve and the destructive ones make other readers aware of issues because it will either get flagged which get's it more attention or it will start a long conversation about by other users defending or agreeing.

Sort:  

"This sucks, go fuck yourself with a cactus and die in a chemical fire you worthless fucking fuck!" is destructive. ;) Should've been more clear about the terminology.

LOL, yes that I consider just being a dick, lol.

I try to avoid being exact with what I mean with destructive when I talk about it xD because let's face it, I don't want to be mistaken as being a dick and taken out of context by someone too tired to convey the meaning of what I'm saying in their head.

Don't avoid it, that is how you will make the truest connections and like minded people. People want real.
