Thank you. That's really good to know, because next week I'm going to be sharing about Steemit with a group of mine on FB and most if not all of them won't be able to buy even $100 of STEEM. They'll need the delegated SP for new members to get them going. I have to give some thought then to what to tell them to not run into bandwidth problems. I'm West Coast, but most of them are East Coast, so those times are valuable to them.
I still don't quite understand why different times of day the problem comes up. Is the platform using more bandwidth from each user during busier times? Or is there competition for platform bandwidth, like gas wars for ICOs?
Anyway, I won't keep quizzing you. Thanks again for the clarification.
There's just a lot more people posting, commenting and whatnot, it's just the highest trafficked period of time. Allegedly an update to the platform later this year might be getting rid of the issue though. So basically the busier the site is, the better time it is to post, but also coincidentally is the time newbies are least likely to be able to do anything. It's a real huge pain the ass that particular bottleneck ;)
