We now have 159 minnows that are growing and tracking their progress on the road to dolphin-hood. We also have 32 graduates. Together this week, the league members have powered up a total of 4952.767 Steem Power. All participants since joining have powered up a massive 290,581.407 SP. The Minnow Power-up League
Every Thursday we will be using SteemSQL database managed by @arcange to gather details on the Owned SP for each person that has entered the league. The current weekly owned SP will be compared to the SP held last week. The person with the highest SP growth for the current week will be on top of the leader board.
There are 4 levels depending on your SP levels. Once you graduate from one, you will be automatically placed on the next. When you graduate from the 4th you will be placed on the Minnow Wall of Fame. As this post could get rather long with the 4 levels, as we grow, we may consider splitting this into different posts on different days.
Level 1

Happy to be part of this great power up league, but in 2 weeks I hope to not be in it any more and graduate to the wall of fame when we are back.. (*Or so I hope....) Lol

Amazing that one needs to have powered up at least 100 steem in a week to even have a shot at the top spots in the leaderboards!
You could buy a 100 STEEM OCDB vote and get something like 50 SP 'for nothing' - 7 of those = top spot? :DMmh, I also but OCDB votes from time to time. It is just better to buy the upvotes than to power up immediatly. Still you need to have the steem to buy the upvotes. So, it should be like communication barrels. If I do buy an upvote it comes at the cost of this week leaderboard, but I do profit from it next week.
But yes I do understand where you are going at!
Edit: the 50SP for nothing is probably is a little bit off. I have now used it on 11 posts, 9 are paid out already. The cost was 35 steem, the calculated profit was 18.9 steem. So a ROI ofaround 14%.
I still regret that this didn't came into my mind sooner!
But their website is also a good playfield to earn a decent amount of curation.

It's interesting, since materially, we're still kind of in the same holding pattern we've been, with maybe a slight uptick, but because some have decreed a bull market (and yeah, Bitcoin and some others have gone up from where they were), the communal psyche changes, even if the price hasn't really justified a bull run for STEEM yet. :)
It appears the image showing the STEEM payouts doesn't match with the winners 😉

there will always be timing differences between when I run the data and when people look at the balances. I just spot checked a few and it looks like they are correct, can you tell me which ones you are looking at?

hi @joelsegovia, you dont need to buy steem, you can power up your liquid earning, you can win it in contests, you can do what you like to earn it, just dont rob it lol.
