Welcome to the Origami Tuesday Competition.
This competition will run for four weeks and is sponsored by @freedomshift on behalf of the #ccc initiative.

The randomly selected winner (TWO if there are more than six participants) will receive 0.5 SBD's for themselves and their nominated pay it forward recipient will receive 1 SBI Yay!
How to enter:
In 200 words or more tell me about an origami model you have found and enjoyed folding. The theme for those of you who have too many favourites to choose from is Christmas.
At a minimum it must contain the name of the model and the name of the designer. Please include a link to the tutorial if one exists or let us know which book/pdf to purchase.
Please don't create a step by step guide without first seeking the designers permission. As this, as I have come to know is breaching their copyright. Traditional models are excluded from this requirement.
Progress photos are most definitely encouraged.

BTW, the 200 words requirement is for posts with writing alone and pictures from outside or public source(s).
Artwork that the author created could offset the words required depending on the efforts and creativity involved - not much for snapshots of the natural world.

I don't think you will have any trouble @marblely your last entry into my first competition was easily over 500 words and had a lovely message about saving whales.
