So we opted to lighten the paint. I was trying for a very light ice blue shade. I think we got mighty close.
I wanted something that would reflect light into the kitchen. The kitchen needs all the light it can get.
The flooring, which they said I’d have on last Wednesday, is apparently not even available at the warehouse. I’ve yet to find out if it can be gotten at all. If not, I’ll cancel the order and find another kind. I need it for next Monday when the carpenter returns from vacation.
The electrician is supposed to come out this week to see what supplies he has here. He said he will try to finish the electrical next week.
I got the estimate for the cook stove renovation. It’s not a full renovation, but what she calls Tier 1, the next step down. The estimate doesn’t include labor or shipping to and fro. It came in at $8800.00 - $11,800.00. That’s about 3X what my husband had been told. So now I have to figure out what else to do. That’s a ridiculous figure for a cook stove.
So it doesn’t look like the stove will be done any time soon. So I will have to get the plumbers in here to finish.
