Here is the “official announcement” for the National Hemi Day Photo contest sponsored with no help at all from Dodge, Plymouth, or Chrysler. That is the reason for the limited prize pool of $25 / $15 / $10 for the top three photos as judged be me.
Seeing that it is a limited contest of one entry per HIVE account, and the photo must be of a Hemi engine or Hemi engine powered car from the 426 cubic in era of the 1960’s thru the 1970’s, extra consideration will be given for photos with a brief few sentences about the photo you submit.
Entries open when I publish the Dash on 04/26/20 and run until 10:00 PM CST in the USA. Just place your photo in the comments section of the post. I will try to publish that Dash the evening of the 25th before 10:00 PM so it should give a full 24 hours for participation.
If you aren’t an old car enthusiast but know of one on here; mentioned the contest to them, you might just end up being their best friend if they enter and win some HIVE. Just don’t go grabbing a photo off the internet either: make sure you have the rights to the photo you submit. I will be checking each photo for authenticity.
