TAKE OFF THE STUPID MASKS ALREADY, EVEN OSHA IS STATING THEY NOT ONLY DON’T WORK BUT EVEN MAKE A HEALTHY PERSON SICK!

From an OSHA certified friend:

So Masks?
I am OSHA 10&30 certified. I know some of you are too. I don’t really know WHY OSHA hasn’t come forward and stopped the nonsense BUT
I wanna cover 3 things
• N95 masks and P95 masks with exhale ports
• surgical masks
• filter or cloth masks

Okay so upon further inspection OSHA says some masks are okay and not okay in certain situations.
If you’re working with fumes and aerosol chemicals and you give your employees the wrong masks and they get sick you can be sued.
• N95 masks and ported P95: are designed for CONTAMINATED environments. That means when you exhale through N95 the design is that you are exhaling into contamination. The exhale from P95 (ported) masks are vented to breath straight out without filtration. They don’t filter the air on the way out. They don’t need to.
Conclusion: if you’re in Stewart’s and the guy with Covid has P95 mask his covid breath is unfiltered being exhaled into Stewart’s (because it was designed for already contaminated environments, it’s not filtering your air on the way out)

• Surgical Mask: these masks were designed and approved for STERILE environments. The amount of particles and contaminants in the outside and indoor environments where people are CLOGG these masks very Very quickly. The moisture from your breath combined with the clogged mask will render it “useless” IF you come in contact with Covid and your mask traps it You become a walking virus dispenser. Everytime you put your mask on you are breathing the germs from EVERYWHERE you went. They should be changed or thrown out every “20-30 minutes in a non sterile environment”

Cloth masks: today three people pointed to their masks as they walked by me entering Lowe’s. They said “ya gotta wear your mask BRO” I said very clearly “those masks don’t work bro, in fact they MAKE you sicker” they “pshh’d” me.

By now hopefully you all know CLOTH masks do not filter anything. You mean the American flag one my aunt made? Yes. The one with sunflowers that looks so cute? Yes. The bandanna, the cut up t-shirt, the scarf ALL of them offer NO FILTERING whatsoever. As you exhale you are ridding your lungs of contaminants and carbon dioxide. Cloth masks trap this carbon dioxide the best. It actually risks health. The moisture caught in these masks can become mildew ridden over night. Dry coughing, enhanced allergies, sore throat are all symptoms of a micro-mold in your mask.

Ultimate Answer: Ported P95 blows the virus into the air from a contaminated person and N95 holes are larger than the coronavirus and does not block particles that small. And most importantly, asymptomatic transmission is not happening anyway.

The surgical mask is not designed for the outside world and will not filter the virus upon inhaling through it. It’s filtration works on the exhale. (Like a vacuum bag it only works one way)

Cloth masks are WORSE than none.

The CDC wants us to keep wearing masks. The masks don’t work.

*Occupational Safety & Health Administration sited.
The top American organization for safety.
They regulate and educate asbestos workers, surgical rooms, you name it.
If your mask gives you security wear it, just know it is a false sense of security.

If stores stopped enforcing it no one would continue this nonsense.

If work requires you to wear a mask, OSHA requires that your employer verifies you are receiving the minimum of 19.5% oxygen level by law! Are your oxygen levels being monitored while at work? Are you experiencing dizziness and headaches? This is a written law NOT a recommendation! I guarantee if employees started citing law and demanding their employers follow the law then the masks would go away!

And from the New England Journal of Medicine "Perspective" 21 May 2020:

"We know that wearing a mask
outside health care facilities of-
fers little, if any, protection from
infection. Public health authori-
ties define a significant exposure
to Covid-19 as face-to-face contact
within 6 feet with a patient with
symptomatic Covid-19 that is sus-
tained for at least a few minutes
(and some say more than 10 min-
utes or even 30 minutes). The
chance of catching Covid-19 from
a passing interaction in a public
space is therefore minimal. In
many cases, the desire for wide-
spread masking is a reflexive re-
action to anxiety over the pan-
demic."

Masks are just a sign that you obey the rulers.

Some can't deal with the ability to think for themselves or take responsibility for their own safety.

Been saying from day one...
Probably a "Facist Joke"...
How can we get them to wear
muzzels, willingly???

Wow, this is new... I don't wear masks because I don't go out often, and when I do it's in car and minimal interaction outside of it. Others from my house do wear them, and now I have to let them read this. (The whole household doesn't wear them inside.)

Excellent posting @tonygreene113! I see more and more
awoken to the goings on over the years and even more so
after the bug. Thank you for posting this information!
More folks need to fire the tell-a-vision.
Thanks to @kunschj for reblogging your post! :-)

If you cough or sneeze & don’t have anything in front of your mouth the particles disperse much further than if you had something there, even if it’s just a cloth mask. Some people spit (urgh) when they talk & a mask of any design would help contain this a bit. That was my understanding of why people are being asked to wear them rather than them being some sort of filter

So as people spit into the mask more and more the fabric of mask becomes a bacteria soaked muzzle. Eventually you get respiratory infections from wearing the mask for prolonged periods

I have to wear a mask at work all day (Hospital Pharmacy). It isn’t comfortable but I have had neither covid nor respiratory problems & I have patients with both. We change the masks regularly. Me wearing the mask is also to help protect the patients & fellow staff from any germs that I may have. This is obviously different to day to day life as it is a clinical setting but if it assists in stopping the spread, or some of it, in hospitals (which was rife before the compulsory mask wearing procedures came in to force) then it makes sense that it could help in non-ventilated high traffic places.

You're making my point for me. People outside of well vented places like a hospital and improperly wearing masks are more likely to get other maladies.
It's doing nothing more than creating a false sense of security.
Herd immunity is the only way this thing will go away.

This picture below is from the inside of a hospital room.

They did not make your point for you. You just seem to like grasping.

They even pointed out how it can help in high traffic areas. Read before you strawgrasp.

Maybe speak to all the many many many health workers and others who wear masks 12+ ours a day. They do not have issues with these infections you speak of. You can also clean many masks types which is what people do, like anything else they wear.

Do not stop wearing masks. Do not listen to this on other spreaders of disinfomation.

"Can face masks help prevent the spread of the coronavirus that causes COVID-19? Yes, face masks combined with other preventive measures, such as frequent hand-washing and social distancing, help slow the spread of the virus."

I really hope people do read and learn the truth about these mask.

Of course they won't. The news media has a stranglehold on the overwhelming majority of people these days.

It seems like too much work for others to freely think and do research for themselves.

Its tough to learn the truth when people post disinformation like this all over the place.

Thanks for bringing this information forward. The masks can do more harm than good if improperly used.

Here's a Facebook video demonstrating actual oxygen deficiency while wearing mask.

OSHA oxygen meter in use for test https://www.facebook.com/1161072426/posts/10222555715779226/

A mask worn properly (something that is not difficult to do) does not restrict oxygen flow to any sort of negative way. Calm down.

https://www.dispatch.com/news/20200629/fact-check-are-cloth-masks-safe-what-does-osha-say
"What OSHA states on its COVID-19 FAQ webpage is masks may not be appropriate for certain kinds of workers. “For example, cloth face coverings could become contaminated with chemicals used in the work environment, causing workers to inhale the chemicals that collect on the face covering.” according to OSHA."
Stop spreading lies about OSHA and other things.

I’ve held out getting/wearing any form of mask. Ordered my first 2 moments before reading this. Had to laugh a little bit.

You jump to some pretty definitive conclusions even experts aren't sure about yet. Nobody is saying that there is NO asymptomatic transmission. The most we can say for certain is that if you're not coughing, you're probably not spreading through the air, at least not very far from your person.
While masks may not be the sole reasons, countries, states, provinces, and regions that adopted masks in the early stages of the pandemic have all had far lower rates of transmission. This, of course, could be because people in those places follow social distancing better.
Cloth masks don't keep the virus out, but they do stop you from transmitting in a few small ways. If you cough/sneeze, or if you spit when you talk, your spit isn't going to fly all over nearby surfaces when you're wearing a cloth mask.
I would also call out your title, but you seem to have revised your post and I absolutely applaud you for backing down on a previous overstatement.
The Coronavirus is still a new frontier that we do not know everything about. Studying it as it happens makes it extremely difficult to be certain of everything.

Please stop this craziness over a false sense of security!

The masks are not worn properly or sterilized, they do nothing!!!

Not everyone wears and uses their masks improperly... I'm sorry you live in a place where people do. The masks aren't just a sense of security when used properly.

This is inside an actual hospital room!!

hz7n05.jpg

Well the Mayo Clinic disagrees with that hospital. Not all doctors are equal, and I value people who RESEARCH illnesses far more than people who simply treat them when it comes to recommendations.
https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/coronavirus/in-depth/coronavirus-mask/art-20485449

So there are varying opinions, why the fuck would or should people have their lives torn apart over medical confusion.

Let people live that are not immuno-compromised and anyone that is high risk should keep their asses home or wear a hypoxia inducing mask whenever they go out amongst the healthy...

r516sc.jpg

Because people who aren't high risk are having complications at increasing rates. As in young, healthy people, particularly men. If it turns out that me wearing a mask was endangering me the whole time, it doesn't matter to you one bit. Me wearing a mask is not any more dangerous to you than me not wearing a mask in any situation. If the virus was able to get in my mask, it would've got in my lungs anyway without a mask.

It started as a recommendation and ended up as a forced item. Not long ago when you felt sick you stayed at home until you got better. Where did the common sense go? Out the window.1wzdbd.jpg

Well of course you stay home when you're sick! However, there are two states in which you'd not know you were sick: asymptomatic, and presymptomatic. While asymptomatic spread is not very likely, presymptomatic spread is about 75% as likely as symptomatic spread. Of course we all know about presymptomatic stages as many respiratory infections, most notably the flu, have a presymptomatic stage that can last up to two weeks where the infection lays 'dormant,' infection more cells within the body while hiding it's symptoms.

Read the entire fucking sign! Don't spout off bullshit fake science about a virus they know nothing about.

Thanks for sharing this very important message... Masks are there just to raise the feeling of security in people...

Completely agree it isn’t going to go away. I’m trying to understand the reason/s why people don’t like it if others choose to wear a mask? Or people’s reluctance to wear one? It doesn’t bother me if someone does or doesn’t want to wear one in a supermarket. Yes they may only provide a minimal amount of protection to the wearer but the prevailing point of people wearing them in indoor public places is source control.

Is your thinking that everyone world-wide should be exposed now so that we can get it done? (So long as the herd immunity theory holds up)

"As a public health physician, I know the SARS-CoV-2 virus doesn’t care that we are all going a little stir crazy sheltering in place. Coronavirus lays in wait to move from one person to another, as the percentage of people with asymptomatic infection is quite high. My chances of getting infected, therefore, are not solely based on my actions, but are also impacted by the behaviors of those around me. This is why I am both disappointed by the seemingly nonchalant actions of those without masks, and sad that I know it will mean the pandemic will continue to cause illness and death."

Meanwhile... Governor wolf of Pennsylvania and his secretary of Health that's not even a doctor has issued an edict that everytime Pennsylvanians leave their house they must wear masks.

At least here in my county we have a lawsuit in for judgement against the mask mandate. Whether it closes as a win for us non-compliers it doesn't matter.
Putting the county commissioners on notice makes them worry

I hope this madness stops here! Take care.

I use masks. Actually cloth mask and put 2 layers of filters But I'd like to emphasize these:

  1. DO NOT USE MASK WITHOUT HANDWASHING AND AIR DRYING AFTER WEARING THEM.
  2. DO NOT WEAR THEM WET.
  3. DO NOT WEAR THEM MORE THAN 4 HOURS STRAIGHT.
  4. CHANGE THEM IF YOU HAVE A SPARE.
  5. DO NOT WEAR A MASK WHEN ALONE OR AT HOME.
  6. DO PRACTICE MINDFUL BREATHING WITHOUT THE MASK.
  7. DO MINDFUL BREATHING MEDITATION AT NIGHT BEFORE YOU SLEEP. YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM NEEDS TO GET RE-INVIGORATED.

Have fun with all of that. I prefer to keep my ability to say no.

Have you seen my latest post on covid19?

These information are interesting

I appreciate the insight

https://www.wired.com/story/its-time-to-face-facts-america-masks-work/
"They propose that widespread use of masks is one of the many reasons why China, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan have controlled outbreaks of coronavirus much more effectively than the US and Europe. “Of course masks work,” sociologist Zeynep Tufekci wrote in a New York Times editorial. “Their use has always been advised as part of the standard response to being around infected people.” Public health expert Shan Soe-Lin and epidemiologist Robert Hecht made a similar argument in the Boston Globe: “We need to change our perception that masks are only for sick people and that it’s weird or shameful to wear one … If more people donned masks it would become a social norm as well as a public health good.” Last week, George Gao, director-general of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, said that America and Europe are making a "big mistake" by not telling the public to wear masks during the ongoing pandemic."

https://www.nature.com/articles/s41591-020-0843-2
"We identified seasonal human coronaviruses, influenza viruses and rhinoviruses in exhaled breath and coughs of children and adults with acute respiratory illness. Surgical face masks significantly reduced detection of influenza virus RNA in respiratory droplets and coronavirus RNA in aerosols, with a trend toward reduced detection of coronavirus RNA in respiratory droplets. Our results indicate that surgical face masks could prevent transmission of human coronaviruses and influenza viruses from symptomatic individuals."

https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lancet/article/PIIS0140-6736(20)31142-9/fulltext
"Transmission of viruses was lower with physical distancing of 1 m or more, compared with a distance of less than 1 m (n=10 736, pooled adjusted odds ratio aOR 0·18, 95% CI 0·09 to 0·38; risk difference RD −10·2%, 95% CI −11·5 to −7·5; moderate certainty); protection was increased as distance was lengthened (change in relative risk RR 2·02 per m; pinteraction=0·041; moderate certainty). Face mask use could result in a large reduction in risk of infection (n=2647; aOR 0·15, 95% CI 0·07 to 0·34, RD −14·3%, −15·9 to −10·7; low certainty), with stronger associations with N95 or similar respirators compared with disposable surgical masks or similar (eg, reusable 12–16-layer cotton masks; pinteraction=0·090; posterior probability >95%, low certainty). Eye protection also was associated with less infection (n=3713; aOR 0·22, 95% CI 0·12 to 0·39, RD −10·6%, 95% CI −12·5 to −7·7; low certainty). Unadjusted studies and subgroup and sensitivity analyses showed similar findings."

https://time.com/5846288/social-distancing-face-masks-covid/
"When it comes to social distancing, the analysis showed that, on average, the risk of getting infected when remaining 1 meter (a little more than 3 ft) from an infected person was about 3%, while staying less than 1 meter apart upped the risk to 13%. The further people stand away from one another, the lower their risk. In fact, the risk drops by half for every additional meter of distancing up to 3 meters (about 10 ft)."
"The data also supported the benefits of eye shields for health care workers. The risk of infection among people who wore glasses, goggles or other face shields was 6% compared to 16% among those not wearing such protection."
"The study found that medical-grade N95 masks and surgical paper masks used in medical settings offered the best protection, but that self-made cloth masks are still effective for the general public. These data, Shunemann says, support wearing a mask both to reduce the risk of spreading of the virus if you’re infected, and to lower the possibility of becoming infected if you’ve not yet caught the virus."

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/factcheck/2020/05/30/fact-check-wearing-face-mask-not-cause-hypoxia-hypercapnia/5260106002/
"It is common for surgeons and other scientists or health care workers to wear face masks, particularly N95 respirators, for prolonged periods of time.

Neither the CDC nor the World Health Organization has issued warnings suggesting the use of surgical face masks would result in dangerous oxygen level depletion within the general public.

The CDC has requested the general public reserve N95 respirator masks for health care workers, but members of the public and other industries do still have access to them."

"There is no evidence to support that the general public — which doesn't typically wear masks for prolonged periods of time — will experience significant reductions in oxygen intake level, resulting in hypoxemia. While CO2 can build up in face masks, it is unlikely that wearing a mask will cause hypercapnia, according to the CDC

It is true that those who are most at risk of negative effects from face masks have been advised by the CDC to avoid the face coverings and reach out to their health care providers for additional guidance."

https://www.health.com/condition/infectious-diseases/coronavirus/does-wearing-face-mask-increase-co2-levels
"“I think it’s highly unlikely that you would pass out from a lack of oxygen with a cloth mask, which generally doesn’t fit tightly to your face. When you exhale or inhale, air can go around the mask as well through the pores in the material. This is why a cloth mask does not absolutely protect you from inhaling the virus, but by disturbing your exhalation flow it tends to protect those around you from aerosols in your breath.”"
"Kelli Randell, MD, an internist and medical advisor at Aeroflow Healthcare, tells Health that prolonged use of any face mask, including the N95 respirator, has not been shown to cause carbon dioxide toxicity in healthy people. “Because breathing is slightly harder with a mask, I do recommend that people who suffer from severe COPD or other lung diseases that make breathing difficult carefully consider the use of face masks,” says Dr. Randell. "

Asshole your down vote means nothing to the post after 7 days.

So downvoting was a waster and only showed how much of a lemming you really are.

And then on top of it all you "muted" me...you deliciously stupid retard.
