So it's that time! December first and another #HivePUD or #HPUD is upon us. For anyone that might be new or doesn't know on the first of the month we like to powerup some HIVE and help increase our HP.
This month I've added another 211 HIVE to my HP.
My buddy @jongolson has inspired and instilled the importance of setting goals with my HIVE. This is something I've never done before but decided to do after reading one of his inspirational posts about building up your HIVE account. About 8 to 12 weeks ago I set a goal to get to 3000 HP by the end of the year. I think I came over to HIVE from that other chain at about 700 HP... I'm currently at:
Looks like I just need to earn another 229 Hive by the end of the month! Either way what ever I don't earn I'll transfer from my trading account. So I'll be starting 2021 with at least 3000 HP.
I think I've added 2000 HP to my account since we moved over from the other chain.
I'm actually super bullish on HIVE since we moved from the other platform. I like all the community excitement, and development I'm seeing around our blockchain. We've now got blogging, video streaming, gaming, micro-blogging, and more great uses in development. I really think we're heading in the right direction.
I think at 3K HP it will be the most powerful my account has ever been. Even since our move. I like setting obtainable goals resolutions for New Years. This year for 2021 I'm committing to doubling my HP to 6K by 2022!
Terrific. It is good to see such growth in less than a year.
You could reach 4k-5K by the time Hive hits a year old.

I'm hoping so. I'm trying to post, comment and curate daily. I've also been trading on exchange taking advantage of any price volatility which has helped to grow a little more too. Haven't been trading a lot recently though, the price seems to of stabilized a bit.
Now I've been focusing on trading a little swaphive and leo on LeoDex that's been helping me grow both! Small trades currently, just getting my feet wet and getting a feel for the market. First time trading on a HiveDex.

It all adds up. I find that activity, in whatever form, coupled with time makes a huge difference in accounts. It is not an overnight process. All this is in the early stages and now is starting to come together.
Some of the tools are available for people to really make a concerted effort to improve their financial situation.
I believe, within 6 months, we will see even more.
It is going to be a fun ride.

Yeah it is! The entire crypto space is exciting. I'm getting really excited about everything I'm seeing here and on the Hive blockchain too!
Crypto is just fun period! Projects like this make it all worth while though. Great seeing something like this getting built. Then reading through #cryptofinance thread and learning about how much Hive and Leo are already making a difference in peoples lives.
This whole platform is everything social media should be, and hive is just another incredible usecase for blockchain technology!

Yeah it works...It's amazing how it does too...You just keep chipping away and before you know it, you've hit a new goal.
Your post awhile back totally inspired me! I was like, well I have to try and set some goals now. It's helped to keep me motivated too and inspired me to post close to daily again.

Wow, that is a great job. I am loving all these posts I am seeing from people today about powering up. I did a pretty big Hive power up a week or so ago to hit my goal of 20k. I did a small amount today but the rest I am moving into LEO. I think Hive is looking like a great bet moving forward.

I had no idea about LBI. Looks like an interesting project I'm going to have research and put a little aside for that as well. I just started posting here last week or so and just started powering up my Leo. I'll be adding to my Leo power regularly now as well. I try to power up at least half my rewards each week, and have been trading with the other half on LeoDex. I'll have to look for LBI now too.

LBI is being modeled after @spinvest.
There is a 20 month track record there. It is a way to generate returns and then influence then through activity.

Yeah, I have stopped staking LEO For that same reason as well. Like you said, every day I power up all of my rewards on Hive. I usually wait until I have 5 or 10 HBI and then I convert that to Hive to power up.

I like keeping some liquid for trading and convert about half my HBD into HIVE. Powerup some, hodl some , and trade some on exchange growing the position when I can @bozz

Right on! WTG on hitting that 20K. Someday I'll get there. I love what's happening on Leo too. I just started powering up my account over there. I'm going to focus on growing more over there as well.
I agree, I have recently started paying a bit more attention to LEO as well. I wish I had done it sooner!

I'm getting there. Taking it a lot more seriously now. No matter what I'll hit the 3K by the end of the month. I bought a bunch at 11 cents on exchange. So I'll probably end up using a nice chunk of that for the remainder of the powerup at the end of the month. I would really love to get to dolphin status soon too. Fingers crossed!
