Continuing with this AU my friend made, we move from Kalos to Alola after two years. Joo didn't win the Kalos League- she didn't even bother in getting all the medals during her first year, but she sure gave the Champion a run for their money after beating the Elite Four the year after.
-- she also encountered an Espeon who sat on her and demanded to become its supreme leader, because out of six pokemons, only two of Joo's are sane.
After that, she moved to Alola to relax and have a fun time because they didn't have a League back then, because it's not as if she wants to be a Champion anyways, y'know.

So, there Joo went. She studied in a Alola, completed the island challenge and overall had a good time. She somehow picked a very agressive Ribombee who self-catched itself after knocking out her whole team, got tailed by a Alolan Vulpix who mistook her for its mom and had to come out of its stalkish ways after it accidentally evolved into a Ninetales, and a Mimikyu who just stood there as she Joo threw a pokeball at it.
Because Mimikyus are tiny mass-destruction weapons fused with Eldrich Horrors that just want to be loved, Karen.
That's a rather abrupt outfit change!
