Welcome to the Creative Coin Fund Investor Report.
The annual percentage rate for CCC delegations to the Fund has been increased to 23 percent for the month of September, following the plan laid out in our delegation announcement post. See below for details.
We reached a milestone this week, crossing over 500,000 staked and delegated CCC. Three new investors joined the team, and five increased the size of their delegation. Our total delegations now stand at 372,031 CCC from 29 delegators, to give us a total of 509,701 CCC available for curating.

Market Updates
The purpose of the Creative Coin Fund is to provide the artists of Hive with a substantial CCC upvote, and to make that vote meaningful by supporting the steadily rising price of Creative Coin.
We're supporting the price of CCC with two mechanisms: the daily market purchase and the base buy-in order.
The daily market purchase is a market order for CCC of 10 to 15 Hive daily. This continues unchanged from last week.
The base buy-in order is a limit order meant to establish the price support for the market. This has been paused until September 9.
We're set to resume the buy-in order on September 9 as planned. The price and size of the order will depend upon market conditions.
With the rise in the price of Hive (spectacular, right?), the amount we can purchase from our fiat conversion will be less, and we are going to budget that to ensure we can place a limit order for the next four weeks, with the goal of providing steady price support all week long.
And we'll continue to chip away at the sell wall with our daily market purchase to clear the way for a rise in the support price.
Increase in Delegation APR
The annual percentage rate for CCC delegations to the fund is variable. Each month on the first, we review the average price of Creative Coin for the preceding two months. When the average price is trending down, the percentage rate increases by 2 percent, to further incentivize investment in CCC and support a reversal of the trend.
The average price of Creative Coin fell 13.69 percent in August compared to July, from .00583141 to .00503285, so the rate for September has been increased to 23 percent, beginning with this week's payout.
When the trend reverses, the percentage rate will fall back by 1 percent monthly, until it reaches the base rate of 21 percent.
Investors in the Creative Coin Fund can plan on a bonus payout for at least the next two months.
Expanding the Network
This week we increased our delegations to two external curators, @celf.magazine and @thisisawesome, by 20,000 CCC each. Both are expanding distribution of Creative Coin and helping to build the community.
CELF Magazine as a project has been supporting the artistic community since 2018, beginning on Steem. They are actively promoting the use of #creativecoin to the artists they support.
This Is Awesome supports 'awesome' content on Hive by following manual curation trails, including our own. As a result of our now 70,000 CCC delegation, they are adding weekly payouts of CCC to their 126 delegators.
If we apply Metcalfe's Law, which states that the value of a network is the square of the number of users, and we assume that all 126 This Is Awesome delegators are new CCC holders (likely not the case), the This Is Awesome payouts will multiply the value of Creative Coin by 15,876.
If we equate value with price (and this is all hypothetical), then 126 new users would put the price at around 80 Hive for each Creative Coin.
There are a lot of other factors to consider, of course, but this is why, from a pure dollar-and-cents perspective, we always say...
