Creative Coin Fund Investor Report: Spectacular Demand for CCC

Welcome to the Creative Coin Fund Investor Report.

As reported last week, the annual percentage rate for CCC delegations to the Fund has been increased to 25 percent for the month of October, following the plan laid out in our delegation announcement post.

Investors responded favorably to our increased APR, delegating over 75,000 CCC this week and providing great demand in the market (see Market Updates below for our story). Four new investors joined our team, and six increased the size of their delegation. Our total delegations now stand at 797,306 CCC from 42 delegators and @creativecoin.

Market Updates

The purpose of the Creative Coin Fund is to provide the artists of Hive with a substantial CCC upvote, and to make that vote meaningful by supporting the steadily rising price of Creative Coin.

We're supporting the price of CCC with three mechanisms:

The daily market purchase is a market order for CCC of 10 to 15 Hive daily.

• Through October 21: 10-15 Hive

The base buy-in order is a limit order meant to establish the price support for the market. The buy-in order is updated weekly on Thursdays.

• Current Price: .001550
• Order Size: 155 Hive for 100,000 CCC

The daily limit order is a buy set daily at a price above the base buy-in order.

• Current Price: .002831
• Order Size: 14.15 Hive for 5,000 CCC

Our strategy for the buy-in order is to maintain it as a limit order for a minimum of 100,000 CCC. We have 100 Hive set aside for this Thursday, to either add to the buy-in or replace it if necessary. We continue to see solid demand in the market, with a low since Thursday of .0027 and current limit orders over .003, so we don't anticipate our order being filled.

Our target for Thursday, if we can add 100 Hive to the present 155, is .0021 with an increase in the order size to 120,000 CCC.

We're funding the daily limit order with sales of our liquid CCC earnings and H-E tokens, up to a maximum order for 5,000 CCC. When we have enough Hive, we set that order atop the market, and the demand has been so strong this week that orders are almost immediately being set above it! New Funding

This week we rounded up two new sources of funding, in the form of contest sponsorships. A third new contest sponsorship is in the works, but we'll wait to announce that until the details are finalized.

The Talent Sound Music contest is a monthly talent show hosted by the Sound Music community. Participants compete with musical videos in two categories: vocals and instrumentals. The Creative Coin Fund is providing 10,000 CCC for prizes, and Sound Music will set the Fund as a beneficiary on their contest posts.

The FOTOCELF contest is a monthly photography contest hosted by the art and culture community CELF Magazine. Three prizes are awarded, and the Fund is providing 10,000 CCC in exchange for being set as a beneficiary on contest posts.

We also continue to sponsor La Abeja Obrera, the Spanish literature contest run by Fund curator @jesuspsoto.

Earnings from our contest sponsorship, as well as earnings from our own posts, are being powered up, except for 10 percent of our HBD earnings, which are placed in savings. Our goal is to reach 2,000 HP and then shift our earnings to H-E investments and our CCC market mechanisms.

Investors are welcome to set the Fund (@cccf) as a beneficiary on their own posts. Everything is being invested and then funneled into the market to support the rising price of CCC, which will benefit the entire community.

Yes, the published list is incorrect. Delegation amounts and payouts did not get updated for delegators who increased their stake; I forgot to take that step. It is correct in the file we used to make your payouts, so everyone did receive their updated payout. Good catch, thank you!
