Great point. People believe that the quick hits are what determine successful projects. The opposite is the truth.

I think back to a little over a year ago (maybe it was two), when EOS was all the rage. It was about to be released and had all the attention. Now, while still a developing ecosystem, many question whether it will fulfill its promise.

All the while many attack Hive. Yet it keep plugging along, adding DApps, and having updates on the existing one. More tokens are being developed, creating newer wealth centers which, ultimately, should feed into greater distribution of the HIVE token itself.

It is the tortoise and the hare all over again.

HIVE is definitely going to be one the big winners. We've already gone beyond critical mass in my view, and now it's all about good continued organic growth. I think that the only thing that could botch things, as I said in my post prior to this one, is a wrong move on our part - which I think is very unlikely since it would require the entire community to be wrong. Nevertheless, for however small a possibility it may be, it warrants being aware of, and gives us all the more reason to stay focused on what is important and not be distracted by the hares. 😅
