Why LYKKE will be a successful crypto! Founder talks #1

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago

Hey Steemians,

The time is ripe for Lykke!

This are the own words of lykke's founder, Richard-olsen:

I’ve been thinking about the Lykke project for 30 years in one form or another. My goal was to disrupt capital markets and create a kind of financial Google; I wanted to create a company that has the qualities of good art. For various reasons, that did not work out.

When you try to pursue a very ambitious goal, the first thing that you learn is to go with the flow. It has to come natural. When you have a seed, you also need good soil. And the soil must be ready as well: There’s no use trying to plant it in the middle of winter.

I’d try to explain what I wanted to do, but no one seemed to understand. They would ask me politely to leave them alone!

All that changed two years ago. I was the same old Richard that I always had been, only this time, the people were ready to listen. Today we have a widespread and powerful awareness that we need to change the financial system, that our old ways of thinking are no good any more. And this is why the time for Lykke has come.

Listening is key

I’d hoped that 2008 would bring the stimulus for change. The world had experienced a fundamental market problem, and everyone seemed to have a different solution. There was a lot of talk. No one was listening. And because we weren’t listening, our fixes didn’t work.

Listening is the key message of Lykke. I want to create a different sort of company. I don’t see us hunkered down behind closed doors; I want us to work like Wikipedia does. This is a crowd-based platform for entrepreneurs and investors, for market participants at any level. We invite anyone and everyone to join us—you can add your voice to influence our direction. This is a kind of listening device. And our solutions aren’t dictates. They’re emergent properties.

What we’re working toward

The vision is clear: Let’s build a single global marketplace, where any asset can be traded, and make it seamless. Let’s develop a kind of digital wallet where any individual or institution can mint their own coinage. Let’s take blockchain as the technology base. Let’s literally convert the world into an electronic market society.

But let’s also come up with a strategy for getting there, and that means moving one step at a time. My key short-term objective is to make our trading platform operational by the end of Q2 2016. Reserve an early invite to Lykke Wallet at lykkex.com and check it out for yourself.

The community

Today I am proud to say that Lykke is home to a growing number of market participants. People are contributing from around the world.

Creating a community is hard work, but it’s also such a source of joy. Without Lykke, I would’ve never met most of these people, whether virtually or in real life. I sent an email to welcome a new member, and he asked to meet, and so we did. He comes from Sweden; his wife is Swiss, and they live in Zurich. His wife cooked lunch. His son joined us. The entire experience was nothing short of delightful.

I’m taken aback by the quality and diversity of the people who are joining us. It’s reaffirmed my belief in what we’re trying to do. If you go out into the world and meet people, you might be surprised at how many good ones there are.

Lykke is a movement

The problem of the modern world is that there are too many obstacles in the way of every goal. But if you create a platform that has no barriers, the people will come, and they will flourish.

Lykke is more like a movement of people with a hunger for stronger, more responsive communities. It gives them the means to transform the world.

There are two systems in play: economic and political. Historically, we’ve relied on outmoded politics, our old autocratic systems, and look where they’ve gotten us. It’s well past time to understand that the economic framework has far greater potential. My idea is to leverage the economic system as a means of positive, proactive change.
If you like or you don't like it please comment on that!

conclusion

I feel that their growth is organic and positive, therefore I would jump on and hold. Their company is legit, it is using well-known methods pioneered by Bitcoin, and has a lot of security measures. My favorite part of the exchange is that I do not have to place trust on the exchange because of their multi-signature system, and I feel that other people will too believe that this is a great asset for the exchange. I would invest.

from Zurich with love,
Francesco

What kind of price action do you see this doing? And what makes its stand out from bitcoin if its using the methods they use?

Well, that sounds promising :) even as a beginner in the crypto world, you got me hooked :) Looking forward to hearing more about your project!

They are very strong @herverisson! It s even very simple to use their platform and from recently they add eth too.
The big positive thing is that they are not taking commission. Let s see how in the next 6 month will be.
Where are you trading @herverisson right now?

Good post. I was about to start a similair discussion. I strongly advice people to only buy in to cryptos that have a solid background: A solid team, product, advisors, preferably VC investors, etc. Sell all cryptos that don't have this solid background. It's a waiste of money. I was wondering if anyone of you uses: https://www.coincheckup.com Supposingly they researched every crypto coin in the scene based on: the team, the product, advisors, community, the business and the business model. They even score the coins stengths. For example: https://www.coincheckup.com/coins/Lykke#analysis For a complete Lykke Research report.

This is right @ebonicraft05! Those factor as you are stating are very important: A solid team, product, advisors, preferably VC investors!

Here in Switzerland the community is very vibrant so is great to meet also these talented people sometimes.

Best
