A Korean project, ICON is one element of an entirely new blockchain ecosystem, in the same way NEO and EOS are, with the addition of inter-op, and AI-driven products that are designed for large-scale organizations, something for which the team already has a great deal of experience. It is also a platform for new blockchain / token (ICO) projects, with many already preparing for release. This is a very serious group of people, which is being eyed with great anticipation by many large players who will soon establish their presence in the new economy.
Current State & Why It is a Good Time to Buy
)So, there are a number of reasons why ICON is a very good buy, at this particular moment .. - Supply: 400 million .. contrast this with the price of EOS at 1 billion supply, then look at NEO's price (less than 100 million tokens), finally look at OmiseGo at 100 million. If you understand the capabilities of ICON and the current rate of adoption, as well as the partnerships that already exist, coupled with the current state of these other projects, and their current prices, you will quickly conclude that a $ 10 - $ 20 per ICX is quite easy to imagine. - Pre-Swap: So, as of this moment, we are awaiting a token swap to the ICON mainnet, which means the ERC-20 token purchased during the ICO will become a 'real', a real ICON token on its own blockchain. Currently, people who already hold ICX, and plan to do so long-term are sitting on their hands waiting for the swap - they are not buying or selling. On the other hand, those who do not care about the future of this project, are still selling .. and the very wise are buying, this is why the price has slightly increased over the past week or so.
The plan for H3O is that they would, 'at some point in the future' be treated, or trade-able, for shares in Hydrominer, after they complete a planned IPO .. no timeframe provided. There was loose talk, entirely undetailed about a dividend payment option for H3O holders, again, no details provided.
Conclusion ..
Buy as much of the ICON ERC-20 tokens as you can, as fast as you can. After the swap, the price will double at min, and increase to $10 - 20 in a relatively short time period.
TIPS
If you do decide to buy ICON, you can do so safely on the following exchanges, which are currently implementing an auto-swap feature - whoever holds the ERC-20 token on these exchanges when the swap occurs, will not have to anything.
The other option is to use the ICON wallet, which is currently in beta and can be found in the Google Chrome Store ..

Hello ender .. no, the first and only ICON ICO has already taken place - currently and imminently we await the 'swap' from the ERC-20 token, issued during the ICO, to the mainnet ICX token, as described in the post. Our feeling is that once this occurs, there will be a significant amount of buying. Currently there are more than a few ICOs which are also awaiting release of the main token - ICOs built for launch on ICON - we predict astonishing upside for ICON, near-term.
