Now in Ireland, you can pay bitcoins for real estate

Hagan Homes, one of the largest developers of residential property in Northern Ireland, will now take bitcoin as a payment method.

James Hagan, Managing Director of Hagan Homes, said:

Interest is growing both in work, life and investment in Northern Ireland, and there has been a significant increase in the use of bitcoin worldwide. Our adoption of a new payment channel reflects our willingness to respond to the needs of the market.

Belfast Telegraph reports that Hagan Homes is the leader in the construction of houses in Ireland and has become the first of its kind company that accepts payments in the crypto currency.

This is another sign of how society is becoming more willing to adopt cryptocurrency. Hopefully, in the future, it will be common for people to purchase anything using crypto. Thanks for the enjoyable post!

That is one of my imagine. I hope one day we will buy a house by Steem

Interesting prospect, no doubt. How would it work in today's market though when factoring in the volatility of Bitcoin and also the usual volatility of the housing market?

If Bitcoin goes on any sort of run it is the seller who gains by virtue of the fact that they hold the value.

I think volatility of bitcoin is the main restraining factor of popularization bitcoin as a payment method, but cryptomarket is too young lets see what happens)

Agree completely. Ironically it is the pulling factor for investors that restricts its ability to be adopted.

Very much a watch this space piece.

we can either adopt or see others prosper, the only coin I got is the steemit coins, but with time, I'm very open to buying other coins save for bitcoin, I just think it's too late for me to make an entry at the moment.

its never late to make long term investment)
