Creating Content the Easy Way by Naming 3 Things

In this post I want to give a shout out, a heads up and a content curation tip.

Hey, that's a good example of the "rule of 3 things"!

First, the shout-out...

Lots of people in the CTP Talk community are aware of and actively participating in the daily Wheel of Engagement, Honey Pot, and Hive Ghost Wheel Spin. Those daily prize draws are run by Russell Stockley at https://ctptalk.com/@russellstockley and great fun they are too!

So, thank you Russell for running the 3 x wheels (rule of 3 kicks in again).

Second, the heads-up...

As well as the wheels, Russell is also offering another daily challenge at the moment as part of his participation in the #IAmAlive Challenge run by @flaxz but far fewer people are taking part in it.

Russell's "name 3 things" challenge gives me something quick and easy to write about without having to think of a topic myself...

So, if you'd like an easy way to create content and engage with people on CTPTalk, pop over to Russell's #IAmAlive posts, watch the short video and upvote and engage with the other participants. :-)

Third, the content curation tip

The "rule of 3" is a very useful rule of thumb for creating content. If you can name 3 things, cite 3 examples, or give 3 reasons for something, it makes your content stronger and more convincing; there is something rhetorically satisfying about the rule of three, so be sure to apply it to your own blog posts and other content creation efforts.

One more tip just to break the rule (LOL)

As a result of taking part in Russell's name 3 things challenge, I am building up some nice "content snippets" over on https://ctptalk.com/@russellstockley which I can flesh out and repurpose as content for one or other of my own blogs when I have more free time.

That's known as killing 2 birds with 1 stone. 2 + 1 = the rule of 3 all over again!

Cheers!

I have a list of "daily creators to visit", and @russellstockley is one of them (along with your content David... but you should do them on a daily basis... :) )... It's not a Pulitzer-winning content, but it's original and stands out... just like I like it... :)

I'm a bit tired of copy/pasted content, but luckily we have a couple of great creators on Hive/CTP to follow, read, watch, and learn from them...

Thank you, Zoltan! Yes, I should create my own content more often than I do. It's always a challenge during Japanese college term. I need to work harder to maintain #InspiredFocus!
