When you wake up in the morning, get up carefully so as not to wake up the dog.
Do your dogs wake up before you? Mine sleep until I wake them up to go into the yard and do their dog business. But this does not always work. If it rains outside, they start to be capricious and do not want to get out of bed.

Most mornings my Brownie wakes me up well before the alarm goes off. But, like Bilbo, if it's raining out she tends to sleep later.
