Deloitte, part of the "Big Four" of auditors, presented its own blockchain platform for demonstration and experimentation.

According to the press release, the Blockchain in a Box (BIAB) platform was designed to meet the needs of customers who want to learn how to solve real-world problems using distributed registry technology.

Deloitte describes BIAB as "a mobile, self-sufficient technology platform suitable for running blockchain solutions on four compact nodes and three video displays with support for network communication components that enable integration of external services, such as traditional cloud technologies.

"People tend to perceive blockchain as a holistic technology solution, whereas in reality it is a technology component that enables larger business scenarios. Our mobile demonstration platform is practical and, more importantly, visible to customers," said Deloitte's U.S. blockchain leader Linda Pavchuk.

Each node supports SD-cards for quick demonstration and transfer of projects. It is expected that the system will be used by enterprises wishing to create and distribute decentralized applications with a minimum set of equipment.

This year, Deloitte conducted a survey among business representatives, which showed that many of them still can not begin to take advantage of distributed registry technology. 23% of the surveyed companies reported that they implemented blockchain in their business in 2019. At the same time, 53% agreed that technology will be key to their organizations in the future.
