Heute möchte ich Euch mal eine Serie vorstellen die relativ unbekannt aber wirklich sehr gut ist! Ich verfolge die Serien schon etwas länger, habe sie mir aber erneut angesehen (komplett) da gegenwärtig die 5. und letzte Staffel in den USA ausgestrahlt wird. Da die Serie relativ unbekannt ist, meiner Meinung nach aber absolut unterschätzt wird, möchte ich euch diese hier kurz vorstellen.
Aufbau der Serie: Es gibt 5 Staffeln mit je 10 Folgen. Jede folge hat eine Spieldauer von knapp 30 min und wird ohne Werbung ausgestrahlt. Man kann eine Staffel daher relativ easy und entspannt durch gucken
Die erste Episode wurde 2015 ausgestrahlt. Produziert wurde sie unter anderem von Mark Wahlberg.
In der Hauptrolle spielt Dwayne „The Rock“ Johnson einen ehemaligen Football-Star (Spencer Strasmore) der sich als Finanzmanager versucht und Milliarden- Deals einfädelt. Weitere Hauptrollen haben John David Washington (Sohn von Denzel Washington) Rob Corddry und Omar Miller. Insbesondere die schauspielerische Leistung sowie die Darstellung des Charakters von John David Washington ist die komplette Serie über herausragend. Er spielt einen extrem erfolgreichen und exzentrischen Football- Star der mit den Problemen des Erfolges zu kämpfen hat. Aber auch andere Charaktere wie zB der von Rob Corddry sind sagenhaft dargestellt. Er spielt einen Finanzmanager der unter starken komplexen leidet und einen drang zum Konsum verbotener Substanzen hat.
Ansonsten besticht die Serie durch eine direkt, vulgäre und schnelle Darstellung. Und da sich die Serie in erster Linie um Football und das dortige Umfeld handelt sind entsprechend schöne Damen und luxuriöse Annehmlichkeiten ein stetiger Begleiter.
Die Serie ist lt. Kritikern wirklich authentisch. Kein Wunder, wenn man bedenkt wie viele echte NFL- Spieler, Trainer, Funktionäre, Moderatoren etc… dort in Gastrollen auftauchen.
Die Serie ist sehr hart und beschönigt nichts! Sie zeigt wie schnelllebig so eine Sportlerkarriere ist, welche Einflüsse und Verlockungen auf alle Beteiligten einwirken und dass es am Ende des Tages wieder nur um Geld geht. Es ist einfach eine schillernde Welt die von Egos geprägt ist.
Alles in allem gefällt mir die Serie da ich ein riesen Football- Fan bin. Generell denke ich, dass Fans von Sportfilmen oder –serien auf ihre Kosten kommen. Die Welt in der sie spielt wird authentisch mit allen Vor- & Nachteilen in lustiger und Unterhaltsamer Form dargestellt. Die Spannungsbögen sind entsprechend der kurzen Episoden und Staffel Länge perfekt abgestimmt. Wirkliche unterhaltsam und eine echte Empfehlung!
Wenn die neue Staffel wie die vorherigen wird ist dies ganz klar meine Nummer 1 Serie 2019. Unterm Strich ist sie einfach besser gelungen als beispielsweise „Stranger Things“, „13 Reasons why“ oder „House des Geldes“ (wobei hier die 3. Staffel auch wirklich sehr gut war).

Today I would like to introduce you to a series that is relatively unknown but really very good! I've been following the series for a while, but have watched it again (completely) as the 5th and final season is currently being aired in the US. Since the series is relatively unknown, but in my opinion is absolutely underestimated, I would like to introduce you here briefly.

In the lead role, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson plays a former football star (Spencer Strasmore) who tries to be a financial manager and threads billions of deals. Other starring roles include John David Washington (son of Denzel Washington) Rob Corddry and Omar Miller. In particular, the acting performance as well as the portrayal of the character of John David Washington is the complete series about outstanding. He plays an extremely successful and eccentric football star struggling with the problems of success. But other characters such as those of Rob Corddry are shown fabulously. He plays a financial manager who suffers from severe complexities and has an urge to use banned substances.
Otherwise, the series impresses with a direct, vulgar and fast presentation. And since the series is primarily about football and the local environment, correspondingly beautiful ladies and luxurious amenities are a constant companion.
The series is really authentic, according to critics. No wonder, considering how many real NFL players, coaches, officials, moderators, etc ... appear there in guest roles.
The series is very hard and does not beautify anything! It shows how fast-paced a sports career is, which influences and temptations affect everyone involved and that at the end of the day, it's all about money. It's just a dazzling world shaped by Egos.
All in all, I like the series because I'm a huge football fan. In general, I think that fans of sports films or series come at their expense. The world in which she plays is authentically presented with all advantages and disadvantages in a fun and entertaining way. The tensions are perfectly matched according to the short episodes and season length. Real entertaining and a real recommendation!
If the new season is the same as the previous ones, this is clearly my # 1 series in 2019. The bottom line is that she just did a better job than "Stranger Things", "13 Reasons why" or "House of the Money" (here's Season 3) was really good too).
